There is a renewed sense of excitement across the construction equipment fraternity as EXCON 2025 approaches. The 13th edition of South Asia's largest construction equipment exhibition, to be held from 9–13 December 2025 at BIEC, Bengaluru, promises to be one of its most impactful editions yet. With over 1,250 exhibitors, including 160+ international participants from 25 countries, and an expected footfall of over one lakh business visitors, EXCON 2025 reaffirms its position as the region's premier platform for technology showcase, business networking, and global collaboration.
This year's theme, “Accelerating Competitiveness: Globalization, Inclusivity, Sustainability, Trust,” reflects CII's focus on strengthening India's manufacturing capabilities and fostering sustainable, technology-driven infrastructure growth.
NBM&CW's interviews with around 120 company heads in this issue indicate that the construction equipment industry has recorded steady growth over the last few quarters, supported by strong infrastructure spending, rising mechanization, and increased adoption of digital and sustainable construction practices.
As India's infrastructure landscape expands rapidly across roads, highways, metros, tunnels, railways, and power projects — the demand for faster, safer, and more efficient construction solutions continues to rise.
