India's construction equipment (CE) industry is entering a new phase of growth. Already the world's third-largest CE market, India is targeting the second position by 2030. Growth is being led by increase in infrastructure spending and equipment volumes. Exports, localisation, stricter emission norms, financing, rental models, technology, and lifecycle economics are also influencing equipment choices and business strategies.
Against this backdrop, bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 arrives at a pivotal time, bringing together 1,100+ exhibitors and 75,000+ visitors from 100+ countries across 1.45 million sq. ft. of exhibition space. The tradeshow will help connect manufacturers and technology providers with contractors, EPC companies, mining businesses, rental firms, component suppliers, financiers and infrastructure decision-makers.
What makes this edition particularly relevant is not simply its scale, but the changing expectations of the Indian buyer. Equipment is being increasingly evaluated not just for performance, but also for its operation cost per hour, fuel efficiency, uptime, utilisation, maintenance, emission compliance, and overall lifecycle value.
Equipment users seeking greater flexibility and better asset utilisation are increasingly considering business models such as rentals, pay-per-use, asset financing, and used-equipment.
A machine, therefore, is no longer judged only by what it can do, but by how effectively it contributes to project productivity and profitability. Road and highway construction is driving demand for paving, compaction, milling and allied equipment. Compact machines such as mini excavators, skid-steer loaders and compact backhoes are gaining relevance in congested urban environments. Mining and tunnelling are moving towards autonomous operations, real-time monitoring, AI-based safety systems, digital twins and integrated control platforms. And specialised machinery is gaining momentum in emerging sectors such as data centres, and semiconductor facilities.
Technology is bringing greater efficiencies in the CE industry, with telematics, fleet management, IoT, predictive maintenance, remote diagnostics, AI, automation and digital twins moving closer to the centre of equipment operations. At the same time, India's growing export momentum alongside the push for component localisation are strengthening the country's potential as a global manufacturing hub.
Meanwhile, the growing sophistication of equipment is creating an urgent need for skilled operators, technicians and engineers who can combine machine knowledge with digital and diagnostic capabilities.
In this special NBM&CW’s bauma show preview, we bring insights from industry experts and leading equipment manufacturers on the techn ologies, products, market trends, and strategies driving the market. The issue thus brings a closer look at where India's CE industry is headed—and how the infra construction sector is preparing to become more productive, competitive, technology-driven, and globally relevant.
As bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 opens its doors, the conversation is no longer simply about the scale of India's infrastructure development, but about how efficiently, intelligently and competitively the CE industry can deliver projects and create greater value from every machine, project, and investment.

bauma CONEXPO INDIA is where we test our technology roadmap against what the industry needs. It draws decision-makers from across the infrastructure chain, from contractors and consultants to financiers and policymakers, so conversations move quickly from specifications to project outcomes. We launch here because live demonstrations and direct discussions with our engineering and global teams let customers judge equipment on productivity and operating economics rather than a catalogue.Ammann India
Ultimately, the future of construction equipment will not be defined by who builds the largest machine or introduces the newest feature but by who enables customers to deliver infrastructure more reliably, more sustainably and at a lower total cost of ownership. That is the direction in which Ammann is investing.
Dheeraj Panda
Managing Director
Our product portfolio this year is built around a road sector delivering larger, more technically demanding projects on tighter timelines.
NHAI built 5,313 km of highways in FY2025-26, around 15 per cent above target and roughly 14.5 km a day, and the expressway pipeline now runs past 11,000 km under construction. Building at that pace changes what contractors need from their equipment. The AP 1000 Tracked Paver has been developed for contractors seeking consistent paving quality across highways, expressways and urban corridors. As projects become increasingly performance driven, uniform mat quality, precise screed control and reliable material flow directly influence pavement durability and reduce rework. The machine has therefore been designed to improve paving accuracy while helping contractors maintain productivity across varying site conditions.
In concrete construction, we are introducing the CPB 36 Truck Mounted Boom Pump and the CC 60 Concrete Plant with Belt. India's ready-mix market is close to 266 million cubic metres this year and the industry is steadily moving off site-mixing toward mechanised batching and tighter quality norms. This is exactly the shift these two machines are built for: faster pumping cycles, dependable delivery and stable batching shorten timelines and hold quality steady where execution windows are compressed.
To target the growth in urban and last mile work our ARW 65.1 Walk Behind Roller and ARX 26.2 Mini Roller are designed for utility corridors, footpaths, municipal jobs and confined sites. As cities build out these networks, contractors need professional compaction from a compact, easy-to-handle machine that gets into tight entry points and short work windows. Sub-5-ton equipment is now the volume leader in its class, and it is the demand we are aiming to address.

We will also demonstrate our AS1 plant control system and connected digital support solutions. Increasingly, the value of equipment lies not only in mechanical performance but in the quality of operational data it generates. By providing real-time visibility into production parameters, equipment utilisation, fuel consumption and maintenance requirements, digital platforms help customers optimise plant performance, improve resource planning and reduce avoidable downtime.
The bigger shift we see is contractors moving from acquisition cost to total ownership value. The questions now are productivity per hour, material efficiency, machine availability and lifetime operating cost. It is a healthy change, because it rewards technology that delivers measurable results over the life of the asset. This is what we want to demonstrate through our presence at baumaCONEXPO India.
Changing customer expectations are driving investment in intelligent automation, connected services and operator centric design.
The construction equipment industry has undergone a fundamental shift over the past decade. Earlier, purchasing decisions were largely driven by machine specifications and acquisition cost. Today, customers evaluate equipment based on availability, operating efficiency, ease of operation, digital visibility and the quality of lifecycle support. With infrastructure projects becoming larger and more time bound, even a few hours of unplanned downtime can have a significant impact on project economics. This shift has fundamentally influenced the way we develop products and design our service ecosystem. One of the strongest messages we have received from customers is that productivity is no longer determined by the machine alone. It depends equally on how quickly issues are identified, how effectively operators can use the equipment and how proactively maintenance is managed. This has accelerated our investment in intelligent automation, connected services and operator centric design.
A good example is our AS1 Plant Control System integrated with A Cloud, which provides customers with real-time visibility into plant operations, production parameters, fuel consumption and maintenance requirements. By enabling remote monitoring and predictive diagnostics, customers can identify performance deviations before they develop into operational issues, improving equipment availability and reducing avoidable service interventions.
Similarly, our Intelligent Compaction technology helps operators achieve the required density with greater consistency by continuously monitoring compaction performance. This reduces unnecessary passes, leading to fuel savings of up to 15 per cent, lower machine wear and more consistent pavement quality. It also helps contractors reduce material wastage and achieve greater process control, which is becoming increasingly important as project quality standards become more stringent.
For contractors, sustainability is increasingly becoming an economic advantage rather than simply a compliance requirement.
Customer feedback has also shaped our sustainability roadmap. Our latest asphalt plants are designed to support up to 60 per cent Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) today, with a clear technology pathway towards 100 per cent recycling capability in the future. Combined with technologies that eliminate coal usage and improve burner efficiency, these solutions enable customers to lower fuel consumption, reduce emissions and significantly decrease dependence on virgin raw materials.Perhaps the biggest change, however, has been in our approach to customer support. We increasingly see ourselves as long term productivity partners rather than equipment suppliers. That means using data from connected machines, structured customer feedback and field experience to continuously refine our products, strengthen service responsiveness and improve lifecycle value. Ultimately, the success of any equipment manufacturer will not be measured by the number of machines delivered, but by the number of productive hours those machines create for customers over their operating life.

- 5 product launches across paving, compaction and concrete solutions
- Integrated digital and sustainable technologies
The next decade will redefine construction equipment, but perhaps not in the way many expect.
While electrification, AI and autonomous technologies receive considerable attention, I believe the biggest transformation will be driven by intelligence rather than powertrain. The industry is moving towards machines that can sense, analyse and optimise their own performance, enabling contractors to make faster and more informed decisions. As infrastructure projects become larger, labour availability becomes more constrained, and sustainability targets become more demanding, productivity per litre of fuel, per tonne of material and per hour of machine availability will become the true benchmarks of competitiveness.
Another significant trend is the growing convergence of automation, digitalisation and sustainability. Customers are increasingly looking for integrated ecosystems where equipment, plants, software and service networks work together. The future will belong to manufacturers who can combine reliable engineering with connected technologies that reduce downtime, improve material efficiency and provide actionable operational insights throughout the asset's lifecycle. At Ammann, our strategy and investments have been shaped around these long-term shifts.
Equally important is our commitment to local manufacturing. India's infrastructure requirements are unique, and solutions must be engineered with local operating conditions, workforce capabilities and ownership economics in mind. This approach enables us to combine global engineering expertise with products that are relevant for Indian customers while strengthening supply chain resilience.
Our participation at bauma CONEXPO India 2026 reflects this vision. Rather than presenting individual machines in isolation, we will demonstrate how paving, compaction, concrete and asphalt production can be supported by intelligent digital systems. Alongside new product launches, we will create opportunities for customers to engage with our engineering experts and global leadership to discuss emerging industry challenges and future technology directions.

We will present our core curing technology, the CureSteam vapor generator, together with our CureControl digital curing-control platform.
CureSteam provides the controlled, saturated-steam environment precast producers need while consuming markedly less energy than the traditional pressurized-boiler approach, and without the associated pressure-vessel compliance burden.CureControl brings the curing process under precise, automated digital control of temperature and the vapor cycle, so producers achieve consistent, repeatable results across every batch rather than relying on manual settings. Together they deliver the three things that matter most on the factory floor: lower energy cost per cubic meter, shorter and more consistent curing cycles that raise mould turnover, and consistent, documented curing quality.
Our development direction has been shaped directly by what precast producers tell us they need.

The result is our customer report centered in four areas: On energy, replacing a pressurized boiler with a CureSteam vapor generator typically reduces curing energy consumption by 40-60%. On productivity, well-controlled, optimized curing cycles support faster and more predictable mould turnover and reduce the cycle-to-cycle variability that disrupts planning. On concrete performance, precise and uniform control of the curing environment, accurate temperature and saturated humidity throughout the cycle supports reliable strength development and fewer out-of-specification batches than loosely controlled or manual curing. And on reliability, the simplicity of atmospheric vapor generation reduces downtime and maintenance compared with high-pressure systems.
Product development at Curetec is continuous. Guided by exactly this kind of customer feedback, our R&D team is already preparing a next-generation version of CureControl that takes curing control and energy optimization a significant step further - and which we look forward to introducing in the near future.

Curing is moving from fixed recipes to adaptive, data-driven control.
Four forces will shape the future of precast curing and concrete production. The first is digitalization and automation - curing is moving from fixed, time-based recipes to data-driven, closed-loop control, and increasingly toward AI-assisted adaptive curing that optimizes each cycle in real time. The second is energy efficiency and decarbonization: as producers face both cost pressure and sustainability-reporting requirements, curing - one of the most energy-intensive steps in precast, comes under scrutiny, and the ability to measure and reduce energy and CO2 becomes a purchasing criterion rather than a nice-to-have. The third is the relentless focus on productivity and consistent quality as industrialized construction scales. The fourth is the globalization of precast into fast-growing markets such as India.Curetec is positioning itself for all four by evolving from an equipment supplier into an intelligent-curing-systems partner. Our roadmap builds on CureSteam and CureControl - with an even more advanced generation of CureControl already in development - toward adaptive curing control, early strength prediction, energy optimization, and predictive maintenance, all underpinned by a commitment to full knowledge transfer and genuine global service, rather than shipping a machine and leaving.
Our participation at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 is a direct expression of that vision: it places our energy-efficient, digitally controlled curing technology in front of one of the world’s most important precast growth markets and lets us engage Indian producers as long-term technology partners.

At Sharp Ply Group, every product development initiative begins by understanding the challenges faced by contractors and project teams on site.
The Indian construction industry is evolving rapidly, with increasing demand for solutions that deliver higher productivity without compromising quality, durability, or safety. Continuous customer feedback has enabled us to refine our formwork systems by reducing panel weight, improving locking and connection mechanisms, increasing durability, and enhancing concrete finish quality. Our engineering focus is on maximising reusability while minimising lifecycle costs.Today, our engineered formwork systems offer measurable advantages, including: faster construction cycles with reduced labour dependency, higher reusability, delivering greater return on investment, superior fair-face concrete finish, reducing plastering and repair work, robust engineered steel systems with extended service life, improved on-site safety through well-designed modular components, lower lifecycle costs and enhanced sustainability through multiple reuse cycles and reduced material wastage.

Our philosophy is simple: better engineering leads to better productivity, enabling contractors to complete projects faster, more efficiently, and more profitably.
The future of construction will be driven by industrialization, standardization, automation, sustainability, and digital engineering.
Labor shortages, tighter project schedules, and increasing quality expectations are accelerating the adoption of engineered modular construction systems. We believe future-ready formwork solutions must combine productivity, safety, precision, and sustainability. We continue to invest in product engineering, manufacturing capabilities, and customer-centric innovation to stay ahead of these evolving industry requirements. Our vision is to become a comprehensive formwork solutions partner rather than simply a product supplier. We are continuously expanding our portfolio to serve residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while maintaining global quality standards supported by cost-effective Indian manufacturing.
Our participation at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 reflects this vision. Through our latest innovations, including the NEW Sharp Ring Form and our advanced engineered formwork systems, we aim to demonstrate how smarter construction solutions can help contractors build faster, safer, more efficiently, and more sustainably.
For any equipment company serving India seriously, bauma CONEXPO INDIA is where credibility gets tested on the ground. This is not a display event. It is where contractors, fleet managers, and procurement heads evaluate whether a solution actually works for their site conditions, their machines, and their project economics. That directness is what makes it central to our engagement approach — and why we treat it as a working demonstration platform, not a showroom.MB Crusher
We moved spare parts inventory and trained service personnel to the state level, closing the gap between a service call and a resolution from days to hours. At the same time, Indian site conditions pushed us to take a harder and closer look at wear management.

We are bringing live crushing & screening performance to the stand.
This year, we are running a live working demonstration of the BF90.3 crusher bucket — our flagship unit for excavators above 21 tonnes — processing material in real time at the stand. For a product category that many Indian contractors are still encountering for the first time, a live demo settles more questions in five minutes than any specification sheet can.Alongside the BF90.3, visitors will see the BF60.1 crusher bucket for mid-range excavators, the MB-L160 compact crusher for backhoe loaders and skid steers, the MB-S18 screening bucket, and the MB-R900 drum cutter for precision rock and concrete profiling.
We will also be displaying the MB-PT1650 Demolition Pulverizer which is MB Crusher’s first dedicated primary demolition attachment.
The most significant introduction at our stand is the India launch of the MB-PT1650 demolition pulverizer.
This is MB Crusher’s first dedicated primary demolition attachment — a double-cylinder design with 360-degree continuous hydraulic rotation and three interchangeable jaw kits: crusher, pulverizer, and shear. One main frame, three distinct functions. For demolition contractors working across reinforced concrete structures in urban redevelopment or industrial decommissioning, that versatility on a single 19-to-25-tonne excavator directly reduces the number of attachments and tool changes a job demands. The most consistent feedback from Indian customers has not been about the machine itself — it has been about what happens after the sale.
A contractor running a crusher bucket on a highway corridor in Chhattisgarh or a tunnel approach road in Uttarakhand cannot afford to wait days for a service engineer to travel from a metro hub. That single insight reshaped our entire service architecture in India. We moved spare parts inventory and trained service personnel to the state level, closing the gap between a service call and a resolution from days to hours. On the product side, Indian site conditions forced a harder look at wear management. The abrasiveness of basalt and granite across peninsular India, combined with the unpredictable mix of rebar-laden concrete in urban demolition, put severe demands on jaw plates. Every MB crusher bucket ships with Hardox steel in the crusher body and manganese in its jaw plates — a high-abrasion-resistant material that extends intervals between replacements and brings down the cost per tonne of processed output.

We also supply an hour meter as standard with every unit, which gives the operator and service team a shared, objective reference for scheduling jaw replacement and hydraulic service at the correct interval rather than guessing from visual wear alone.
The net effect is a more predictable cost structure for the contractor — fewer unplanned stoppages, tighter control over consumable spend, and higher machine availability across the project cycle. On time-bound government contracts where a day of downtime has a direct financial penalty, that predictability is not a convenience. It is a competitive requirement.

The trend I watch most closely is not any single technology in isolation, it is the structural shift toward decentralised material processing.
Indian construction has operated for decades on a hub-and-spoke model: aggregate gets produced at a static crushing plant, trucked to site, and the contractor absorbs the cost, the delay, and the supply risk at every stage. That model is under pressure from multiple directions simultaneously — rising fuel and haulage costs, tightening quarry permissions in several states, environmental scrutiny on transport emissions, and project timelines that leave zero margin for supply disruptions. What is emerging to replace it is not a single product but a different operational logic: process material at the point of work, using the carrier machines already deployed on site. That is the principle MB Crusher was built on twenty-five years ago, and it is the principle that is now finding broader traction in Indian road construction, demolition, and mining operations. The circular economy framework — particularly around construction and demolition waste — reinforces this further, because recycling debris into reusable aggregate is only viable when processing happens on site, not at a facility sixty kilometres away.
Every attachment on display at bauma CONEXPO India — from the BF90.3 to the new MB-PT1650 demolition pulverizer — gives the contractor processing independence at the point of work. The carrier machine is whatever the contractor already owns; the powertrain — diesel, hybrid, or eventually electric — is the OEM’s domain. Our job is to ensure the attachment performs regardless of what drives the carrier, and that positions MB naturally for whatever powertrain transition the industry undergoes.

For Filtrec Bharat, bauma CONEXPO INDIA is one of the most important dates on our calendar, and the timing could not be more relevant. India is on track to become the world’s second-largest construction equipment market by 2030, according to ICEMA. The industry sold over 1.36 lakh units in FY26 despite a soft domestic year, with exports up by over 30%. This kind of growth, and the localisation driving it, changes what OEMs need from a filtration partner: not just a component supplier, but someone who understands the hydraulic system as a whole and can respond quickly as designs evolve.Filtrec Bharat Manufacturing
The combination of global filtration engineering paired with local manufacturing, R&D, and faster turnaround is what we offer to OEMs and the end-users. We are a filtration partner built for where the Indian market is headed; not just where it is today.
Sanjay Kumar Agarwal
Managing Director
That is exactly the role we want the tradeshow to play for us — a platform to sit across the table with equipment manufacturers and end-users, hear directly how their requirements are shifting, and translate that into filtration design, rather than simply promoting a catalogue pitch.
We will showcase our full range of hydraulic filtration.
On display will be our full range of hydraulic filtration – pressure, return and suction – and our Absolute Beta filtration media, which is built to deliver consistent multi-pass efficiency and predictable ISO cleanliness codes across duty cycles, rather than efficiency that degrades as the filter loads. For OEMs, this translates into fewer field failures tied to contamination, and more confidence in warranty performance. For end-users, it means longer component life on pumps, valves, and cylinders, and fewer unplanned stoppages on site.
Customer feedback is the single biggest input into how we develop filtration solutions, and the reason is practical.
Earthmoving equipment alone accounts for over 56% of the Indian construction equipment market, and a filtration specification that works for an excavator on a mining site will not necessarily hold up on a backhoe loader in a road-building application with a very different duty cycle.Requirements shift with machine type, operating environment, duty cycle, and even region. South India alone accounts for close to a third of the domestic market, and the mix of applications we see here is different from what a filtration company serving Europe or North America is used to.

Hence, our process starts with the application and not the product. We look at filtration efficiency, pressure drop, dirt-holding capacity, service intervals, and what specifically needs protecting. A high-pressure pump behaves very differently under contamination than a proportional valve. This is where being manufactured and engineered in India helps: we can turn around application-specific recommendations faster, and iterate on real field data from Indian operating conditions rather than working from assumptions carried over from other markets.
The outcome that customers see is fewer premature component failures, less unplanned downtime, and filtration that is actually matched to how the machine is used, not just its make and model.

Filtrec is well prepared for the trends shaping the future of hydraulic filtration.
Two forces are converging in Indian off-highway equipment right now. First, hydraulic systems are becoming more compact and operating at higher-pressures as OEMs pursue efficiency and emissions compliance — CEV Stage V norms took effect in 2025, and manufacturers are redesigning drivetrains and hydraulics around them.Second, India’s equipment fleet is scaling fast, with the market projected to nearly double in value by the early 2030s. Compact, high-pressure systems have less tolerance for contamination, and a fast-scaling fleet means more machines running longer hours in tougher conditions. Filtration has to keep pace with both at once.
We have invested in local manufacturing and R&D rather than simply importing filtration technology and adapting it.
We have set up R&D in India specifically to strengthen our Make in India commitment. This lets us work on application-specific solutions with Indian OEMs directly, and combined with our local manufacturing footprint, means we can respond to design changes and volume needs with the speed the market now demands, not something we could do relying purely on imports. We also draw on the wider Filtrec S.p.A. group, so the technology and engineering standards we bring to Indian customers are globally proven rather than developed in isolation.
India's infrastructure development is no longer just about scale; it's about the quality of execution and as project developments accelerate, contractors are being asked to deliver faster, safer, and with tighter margins. This is driving mechanization at height, with project contractors moving from bamboo scaffolding and ladders to purpose-built access equipment.MTandT Rentals
We're deepening our range, building service and training infrastructure, expanding technician network, and moving toward the connected-equipment future that contractors are going to expect as standard.
Sanjay Verma
Group CEO
We have built our response around three pillars: range depth, electrification, and application-specific engineering.
We have significantly deepened our MLIFT electric scissor lift portfolio giving contractors zero-emission, low-noise options suited to indoor fit-outs, warehousing, and urban worksites where diesel isn't practical anymore. Alongside this, our diesel scissor lift addresses the outdoor, uneven-terrain segment where diesel torque and ground clearance still matter.
MLIFT electric articulated boom and diesel telescopic boom extend into façade work, industrial maintenance, and infrastructure applications that scissor lifts cannot service — with the ability for tight-radius access around obstructions, and long vertical/horizontal outreach for steel and MEP work.
We've also expanded into specialized categories that reflect where the market is heading: order pickers and vertical mast lifts for warehousing and logistics — a sector growing in lockstep with e-commerce and organized retail — and spider lifts for tracked, narrow-access applications like heritage structures, stadiums, and tight urban sites.

Customer expectations led to our investing in EQUIPR - parts stocking closer to project sites, and CESL – our operator training and certification arm.
This is where I'd say the industry has matured the most in the last few years. An equipment spec sheet used to be the whole conversation. Today, a customer wants to know how quickly can you get me a technician, how easy is it to train an operator, and what does this equipment cost me over five years, not five months. This feedback loop has directly shaped two things for us: First, our service architecture through EQUIPR. We have invested in expanding technician coverage and parts stocking closer to project sites, because for a rental fleet or a contractor, an idle equipment is a direct hit to their bottom line. Second, our training and certification arm, through CESL Training, exists because customers told us operator competence was as big as safety and productivity lever as the equipment itself. A well-trained operator gets more productive hours out of the same equipment and causes far fewer damage-related service calls.
On the product side, this feedback is why electrification has moved to a core part of our range. Customers consistently point to lower running costs, less noise for indoor and residential-adjacent sites, and simpler maintenance (fewer moving parts, no engine servicing) as reasons to switch. We've also standardized components and diagnostics across models wherever possible, which shortens fault-finding time on-site, and reduces dependency on specialist parts.

Whether electrification, increasing rental penetration, safety regulation and enforcement, or growing demand for connected equipment, we are prepared on all fronts.
A few trends stand out to me. First, electrification will keep accelerating — not just because of emissions norms, but because the total cost of ownership case is becoming undeniable, especially for indoor and urban applications. Second, rental penetration will keep rising as contractors prioritize capital efficiency over ownership, which raises the bar on durability, serviceability, and residual value.Third, safety regulation and enforcement around work-at-height will tighten, and that will push training and certification from a compliance checkbox to a genuine differentiator for contractors bidding on institutional and government projects. And fourth, I expect a growing appetite for connected equipment — telematics, remote diagnostics, and asset-utilization data — as fleet owners look to squeeze more productivity out of every equipment they own.
Our strategic priority is removing uncertainty from work at height, whether through the equipment itself, the person operating it, or the support standing behind it.

bauma CONEXPO INDIA has become an important platform for the construction equipment industry, bringing OEMs, customers, technology providers and other stakeholders together. For manufacturers, it provides an opportunity not only to showcase equipment, but also to understand how customer expectations are changing and engage directly with the market. It encourages meaningful discussions around productivity, technology, sustainability and the future direction of construction equipment in India.
At the same time, bauma provides an important forum for feedback, allowing manufacturers to better understand the practical considerations customers have around equipment adoption, operating requirements and ownership economics. LiuGong's participation provides an opportunity to engage with customers around the growing role of electrification and sustainable equipment, to exchange ideas, evaluate emerging technologies and collectively consider what the next generation of construction equipment should look like for markets such as India.
We will showcase three electric machines: the 820TE, 906FE and LS1012H.
The display represents a broader shift taking place across the industry, where electrification is becoming an increasingly relevant part of equipment development and customer conversations. These machines address growing interest in solutions that can support lower operating emissions, improved energy efficiency, and reduced noise, while remaining relevant to practical construction and material-handling applications.
The significance of the showcase is therefore not limited to the machines themselves. It reflects the industry's wider movement towards more sustainable equipment, and gives customers an opportunity to understand how electric solutions are developing across different applications.
Customers’ purchase decisions are no longer based only on machine price or basic performance.
Customer expectations in construction equipment are becoming broader. Customers increasingly want equipment that delivers dependable productivity, predictable operating costs and strong support throughout their working life. The most common priorities are uptime and reliability. Machines need to perform consistently because downtime can directly affect project schedules and productivity.Operating economics – fuel or energy consumption, maintenance requirements and overall ownership costs – are receiving greater attention.
Customers expect timely technical assistance and dependable parts availability when support is required. Digital and connected features are valued when they provide useful information and help improve machine utilisation, maintenance, or operational efficiency.
This feedback is influencing the industry’s approach to both product development and after-sales support. Equipment needs to be designed not only around technical capability, but also around how easily it can be operated, maintained, and supported in real working environments. Similarly, service strategies need to focus on reducing downtime and making ownership more predictable for customers.

Another important change is that customers are becoming more application-specific in their expectations. A machine working on a road project may have very different requirements from one operating in mining, urban construction or material handling. Understanding these differences is essential when developing equipment and support solutions. The broader direction is clear: customers are looking for a complete equipment proposition rather than simply a machine. Product performance, service responsiveness, parts availability, technology and lifecycle economics are increasingly connected. This makes continuous customer engagement particularly important, because direct feedback helps the industry understand what is genuinely useful on the jobsite and where equipment and support can be improved further.
Technology should not be introduced simply because it is new; it needs to solve a real operating challenge and provide a meaningful benefit.
The construction equipment industry is entering a period of significant technological change, but the transition is likely to be evolutionary rather than driven by one single technology. Electrification, digitalisation, connected equipment, automation, energy efficiency and alternative power solutions are all likely to influence how machines are developed and operated. At the same time, the fundamentals of construction equipment will remain unchanged: customers will continue to expect reliability, productivity, durability, and a clear economic benefit.Electrification is likely to gain importance, particularly in applications where operating conditions, charging infrastructure, and machine utilisation make it practical. Digital and connected technologies can also play a greater role by providing better visibility into machine performance, maintenance and utilisation. Automation and intelligent features may further support operators and improve productivity as the technology becomes more mature.
However, adoption will ultimately depend on the application. Construction sites are diverse, and solutions that work well in one environment may not necessarily be suitable for another. Infrastructure availability, energy costs, operating patterns, initial investment and total lifecycle economics will all influence the pace of adoption. For equipment manufacturers, staying relevant through this transition means understanding these changing requirements while maintaining a focus on practical customer value. Technology therefore should solve a real operating challenge.

BIM information will increasingly connect directly with production planning, manufacturing execution systems and automated machinery.
The next generation of precast manufacturing will be shaped by the convergence of automation, robotics, connected machinery, flexible production systems and intelligent use of data. The most significant transformation will come from creating a continuous flow of information from building or infrastructure design through production and logistics to installation at the project site.BIM information will increasingly connect directly with production planning, manufacturing execution systems and automated machinery. This can reduce manual transfer of information and help ensure that the factory works with current design data. Robotics will undertake more repetitive, physically demanding and precision-dependent activities, while connected equipment will provide real-time information on utilization, production status, warnings and maintenance requirements.
AI has considerable potential in production scheduling, quality analysis, predictive maintenance and process optimization. As plants collect more reliable production data, AI-enabled tools could help identify patterns, predict bottlenecks and recommend more efficient production sequences. Digital twins could allow manufacturers to simulate capacity, production flow and proposed operational changes before implementing them physically.
Sustainability will be equally important.
Customers will increasingly expect technologies that optimize concrete consumption, minimize rejected products, reduce production waste, improve energy efficiency and extend equipment life. Factory-based manufacturing offers controlled processes and repeatable quality, helping reduce the variability and rework associated with changing construction-site conditions. The market for industrialized construction will become more diverse.
Precast is expanding beyond residential and commercial buildings into railways, roads, data centers, affordable housing, industrial facilities, protective infrastructure and modular applications. Automated railway sleeper production, precast shelters, infrastructure elements, composite hollow-core structures and volumetric pods demonstrate how factory-based construction can address these emerging requirements.Elematic enables customers to navigate this transformation through a complete, modular portfolio. We support projects ranging from mobile and entry-level production concepts to highly automated precast plants. Customers can progressively add production capacity, robotics, material handling, software, connected machinery and digital services as their requirements and project pipelines develop.
At bauma CONEXPO INDIA, we will demonstrate our approach to application-specific lubrication. The right lubricant is not simply a product choice; it is a combination of the correct specification, application, operating conditions, service interval and technical support. This solution-oriented approach is an important part of the value ENSO aims to bring to equipment owners and fleet operators.ENSO Oils and Lubricants
Our objective is to combine high-quality products, application expertise, responsive technical support, and strong customer relationships to deliver measurable value across the equipment lifecycle.
Deep Malhotra
CEO
Our focus is on providing lubrication solutions that protect the complete equipment system.
Our comprehensive range of high-performance lubricants and technical fluids is designed to address the demanding requirements of construction, mining and heavy-duty industrial equipment. Our product portfolio includes engine oils for heavy-duty diesel equipment, hydraulic fluids, transmission and gear oils, greases and other specialised lubrication solutions. For construction and mining applications, machines operate under high loads, extreme temperatures, dust, moisture and long operating hours. Our lubricants are therefore designed to provide strong wear protection, oxidation and thermal stability, corrosion protection and reliable performance under severe operating conditions.
The key benefit for customers is longer and more dependable equipment life, reduced component wear, improved lubrication performance and greater operational reliability. By helping machines perform consistently for longer periods, quality lubrication can also contribute to lower maintenance requirements, reduced unplanned downtime, and improved overall operating efficiency.
Customer feedback has encouraged us to move from a purely product-centric approach towards a more application and solution-oriented strategy.
Customer feedback has been one of the most important inputs into the way we are developing ENSO Oils & Lubricants. In a demanding industry such as construction and mining, customers do not look at lubrication as a standalone purchase; they look at its impact on equipment reliability, maintenance, productivity and total operating cost.We are currently working with most of the biggest construction & mining companies and our discussions with them have therefore increasingly focused on real operating challenges such as high temperatures, heavy loads, extended operating hours, dusty environments, hydraulic system performance, equipment cleanliness, component wear and tear, and the need to minimise downtime.
We are strengthening our portfolio around the specific requirements of heavy-duty engines, hydraulics, transmissions, gears and other critical equipment components, while also placing greater emphasis on product consistency, specification compliance, and application guidance.
An important area of development is technical support. We believe that even the best lubricant can underperform if the wrong grade or specification is selected, if contamination is not controlled, or if service intervals are not properly managed. Therefore, our customer proposition increasingly combines quality lubricants with technical recommendations, application support and closer engagement with maintenance and fleet teams.
Ultimately, customers are asking us to help them achieve three things: protect their equipment, keep it operating reliably, and reduce the total cost of ownership. This is increasingly shaping both our product development and our service strategy.
As equipment becomes more sophisticated, lubrication will become increasingly application-specific.
We see the future of lubricants for construction, mining and industrial equipment in India being shaped by five major trends: higher equipment performance, longer service intervals, greater fuel and energy efficiency, increasingly specialised lubricant requirements, and stronger environmental expectations.Modern engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and gearboxes operate at higher pressures, temperatures and loads, which places greater demands on lubricant performance. At the same time, equipment owners are looking for longer drain intervals, lower maintenance costs and greater uptime.
We also expect condition monitoring and lubricant analysis to become increasingly important. The industry is gradually moving from preventive maintenance towards more predictive and condition-based maintenance, where lubricant condition and equipment health can provide valuable insights before a failure occurs.

bauma CONEXPO INDIA has become one of the most important platforms for the construction and precast concrete industry in India, and for Bianchi Casseforme it is an excellent opportunity to engage directly with precast manufacturers, developers, contractors and other industry stakeholders.Bianchi Casseforme India
Our focus is on developing customised moulding systems that can integrate into modern production environments and provide customers with a clear path towards greater automation and efficiency.
Viraj Shah
Head – Sales
India’s precast sector is moving towards higher levels of industrialisation, standardization, and automation. This is creating a growing requirement for moulding systems that can deliver not only dimensional accuracy and consistent quality, but also higher productivity, flexibility and better utilisation of manufacturing space.
With more than 60 years of experience in precast technology through the Bianchi Group, our objective at the tradeshow is to demonstrate how international engineering expertise combined with a strong understanding of the Indian market can help manufacturers move towards more efficient and advanced precast production. We want visitors to see Bianchi not simply as a mould manufacturer, but as a technology and solution partner for the precast industry.
We will showcase our customised battery moulds, tilting table and stationary moulding systems, solid slab moulds, beam and column moulds, 3D moulding solutions and other specialised precast moulding technologies.

For manufacturers, this translates into more consistent products, reduced dependence on manual processes, improved production planning, and the ability to manufacture different precast elements using an optimised production set-up.
Customers are increasingly looking for greater productivity, flexibility to manufacture different products, and reduced dependence on manual operations.
The Indian precast market is highly diverse, and one of the most important lessons we have learned is that there is no single moulding solution that works equally well for every producer. Customers are increasingly looking for three things: greater productivity, flexibility to manufacture different products, and reduced dependence on manual operations. At the same time, they are under pressure to maintain consistent quality while controlling manufacturing and maintenance costs.Another important requirement is customisation. Indian precast manufacturers often work with different product geometries, project-specific designs, and changing production requirements. A moulding system therefore needs to be designed around the customer’s actual production process rather than forcing the customer to adapt completely to a standard solution.
We focus on engineering customised moulding solutions that address the complete production cycle.
This customer's feedback has strongly influenced our approach in India. We focus on engineering customised moulding solutions that address the complete production cycle — from mould preparation and reinforcement placement to concreting, demoulding and handling. For example, our battery mould solutions are particularly suited to manufacturers looking for a more organised and repeatable production process for wall panels and other vertical precast elements. They offer a high degree of flexibility and customization. For example, we can manufacture wall panels with integrated sunshades and incorporate different types of connections, including shear-wall and stitch connections.
The positioning and dimensions of openings such as windows and doors can also be customized according to the project requirements. This flexibility allows us to adapt the moulds to a wide range of architectural and structural requirements while maintaining efficient precast production.
We also see increasing interest in solutions for beams, columns, stairs, 3D elements and other specialised precast components. Similarly, our tilting tables and customised solid slab systems provide manufacturers with flexibility where different element sizes and configurations need to be produced.
Our objective is to give manufacturers the flexibility to expand their product portfolio without having to completely redesign their production infrastructure. A good example of this approach is our growing battery mould activity in India, where we have continued to develop and deliver customised systems based on specific customer requirements. The feedback from these projects helps us continuously improve our engineering, fabrication and after-sales support.
Ultimately, our focus is not simply on supplying a mould; it is on improving the customer’s overall manufacturing economics through better productivity, repeatability, product quality, safety and flexibility.

Customised Battery Mould Systems
We believe the future of precast concrete manufacturing will be shaped by four major trends: automation, flexibility, digitalisation and better utilisation of resources.
The industry is gradually moving away from highly manual production environments towards controlled and repeatable manufacturing processes. At the same time, manufacturers need greater flexibility because precast products are becoming increasingly customised and project requirements can change quickly.Automation will therefore play an important role, but we believe automation should be introduced where it creates genuine value. The objective is not automation for its own sake; it is to reduce repetitive manual operations, improve consistency, increase safety and make production more predictable.
This is where customised moulding systems become particularly important. A well-designed mould is the foundation of an efficient precast production process. By combining precision-engineered moulds with appropriate handling systems, automation and production planning, manufacturers can progressively increase their level of industrialisation.
Bianchi Casseforme is positioning itself to support this transition by combining the group’s long-standing experience in precast technology with solutions adapted to the requirements of the Indian market. Our message to the Indian market is straightforward: the next phase of precast development will require smarter production systems, greater flexibility and higher levels of efficiency, and Bianchi Casseforme is committed to being part of that transformation.
Bauma CONEXPO INDIA is an important platform to engage with the ecosystem that drives India's infrastructure and industrial growth. Vikas Gupta
Chief Executive Officer
The right approach to lubrication can improve equipment performance and long-term asset worth.
We will be demonstrating our Industrial Lubricants and Automotive portfolio and application-focused solutions for demanding operating environments across construction, mining, commercial, and personal mobility and allied industries.Heavy Equipment today demands much more than just basic lubrication. Equipment is exposed to high loads, temperature variations, long duty cycles and demanding environmental conditions. We are committed to delivering solutions that provide reliable wear protection, thermal and oxidation stability, component protection and consistent performance in demanding conditions.
Equally important is our ability to engage directly with equipment manufacturers, fleet operators, distributors, and end-users. These interactions give us a good sense of the evolving needs of applications, and help us increase our understanding of challenges faced in the field.
We value customer and application feedback very highly in the development of our products and technical approach.
Often the most important developments in lubrication are driven by what happens in the field. Construction and mining equipment does not operate in a controlled environment; it is exposed to varying loads, temperatures, duty cycles, and environmental conditions. Understanding these realities is fundamental to providing relevant lubrication solutions. Customer feedback helps us understand where equipment is being challenged, how operating conditions are changing, and where lubrication can play a bigger part in improving reliability and efficiency.Lubrication should be considered part of the larger equipment ecosystem.
A lubricant has to not only fulfill its primary function of reducing friction and wear but also contribute to the protection of critical components, the efficiency of the equipment and reliable operation throughout the asset’s life cycle. This is especially true for construction and mining customers where equipment downtime can have a direct impact on project schedules and operating economics. The goal is not just to increase the drain intervals, but to find the right balance between lubricant performance, equipment protection, maintenance needs and operating conditions.

- Application-Focused Solutions designed for demanding operating conditions
- Lubrication technologies focused on Equipment Uptime, Efficiency and Performance
- Complete range of lubrication solutions and AdBlue spanning Industrial, Commercial, Off-road and Personal Mobility
We believe that the true measure of a lubrication solution is the value it creates for the customer.
The value of a lubricant is much more than the price of the product if it helps protect components, supports uptime, improves operational efficiency, and contributes to longer equipment life. This customer-led approach will be central to our product development and service strategy as we grow our footprint in the Industrial Lubricants segment.
For VELVEX, the goal is simple: to shift the conversation from the cost of lubrication to the value it provides in terms of equipment reliability, productivity, and lifecycle performance.
More sophisticated hydraulic, transmission, and drive-train systems will require more specialized and application specific lubrication solutions.
The heavy equipment industry is in the midst of a crucial transformation. Increasingly demanding productivity requirements, more stringent emission norms, higher energy efficiency and the increasing sophistication of equipment are fundamentally changing the way in which machines are designed and operated. This change must be complemented by the right lubrication solutions. We anticipate ongoing demand for lubricants that can withstand higher temperatures and loads, enable longer service intervals and enhance energy efficiency. Meanwhile, more sophisticated hydraulic, transmission, and drive-train systems will require more specialized and application specific lubrication solutions.
Electrification and hybridization will also create new needs, particularly in terms of thermal management, component compatibility, and specialized fluids. The transition will take time across different segments and applications, but it’s important for lubricant companies to prepare for these technologies today.
The convergence of lubrication and digital technologies is a big opportunity.
Lubricant condition monitoring, oil analysis and predictive maintenance can help customers make better decisions about lubricant condition, and equipment health. This can aid in shifting maintenance strategies from reactive to more predictive and data-driven models. At Nandan Petrochem Limited, we are investing in capabilities to anticipate these changes rather than just react to them. We are scaling our product development, application expertise, and emerging equipment technologies to ensure VELVEX continues to deliver relevant solutions to the next generation of industrial, and heavy-duty applications.
We see the future of lubrication becoming more and more application-specific and technology-led. The lubricant will not only be a maintenance consumable but will increasingly become an enabler of equipment reliability, efficiency, and life-cycle performance.

The shift is not simply about adopting new tools, but about creating better-connected ways of working.Trimble Inc
Construction today is being powered by technology, which is not only improving how projects are executed, but also making an impact on how teams collaborate, make decisions, and respond to challenges on the ground. But how will construction technology adoption actually increase by 2030?.
Harsh Pareek
Vice President - Sales (APAC)
While this transformation is still in its early stages, it signals the industry's growing willingness to harness technology to keep pace with faster project timelines and rising demand. Looking ahead, current trends indicate that by 2030, the construction industry will see wider adoption of emerging technologies, alongside a stronger focus on collaboration and sustainability.
The market for Digital Twins in construction is expected to grow from $48.98 billion in 2025 to $107.43 billion in 2030.
Digital Twins are likely to be an important part of this transition. A digital twin is a virtual replica of the infrastructure that uses real-time data to simulate, monitor, and optimise throughout the lifecycle to improve decision-making, reduce costs, track productivity, and prepare for any maintenance needs by simulating real-world conditions virtually. The market for Digital Twins in construction is expected to grow from $48.98 billion in 2025 to $107.43 billion in 2030 . The primary reason for this projected growth is the increasing adoption of Big Data, which is fueling growth of the market to enhance real-time monitoring and data-driven optimization.Robots and autonomous machines will increasingly replace hazardous and laborious work.
Artificial intelligence is likely to strengthen this capability further. As AI-enabled systems become more sophisticated, they can analyse large volumes of project information and identify patterns that may be difficult to detect manually. It is also anticipated that robots and autonomous machines will replace hazardous and laborious work, especially in bricklaying, drone inspections of construction sites, amongst other tasks.AI is also changing the way construction estimations are made, as it can compare project history, labour costs, and time limits in a matter of seconds and provide insights with precision without the need for extra manual work to undertake the same activity.
On-site tasks will move to factories at a larger scale and along with automated design will reduce any inefficiencies on-site.
The ecosystem that the industry currently works in has fostered a spirit of collaboration where data sits at the forefront. It works with all the stakeholders at the same time, helping them meet their performance goals through improved understanding and better analytics. The focus also seems to be shifting towards safety, quality, and sustainability. This trend is on the rise; in 2030, emphasis will be placed on automated design, and tasks that were traditionally carried out on-site will be moved to factories, at a larger scale than now, cutting any inefficiency that would be prevalent on-site.Construction technology will make complexity in projects visible and manageable.
Simply generating more data, however, will not be enough. For technology to deliver its full value, information needs to be accurate, accessible, and interoperable across different systems. But the change will not only translate to the technical side; it is also set to be palpable in managerial contexts, where automated monitoring will make project reporting more objective, with better insights and predictability of the future course of action. Reliance on subjective progress narratives will be reduced, and project status will be shared live. As data generation gets better, and analysis of the same becomes sophisticated by machines, project managers will be able to intervene even before some delay occurs and focus on cost-effectiveness along with efficiency.
A key driver of global development, construction technology will make complexity in projects visible and manageable. The adoption of technology will also be tied to the credibility of the projects, and as such, the industry is only going to look more technologically driven, with better control and understanding of what is being built.

Hence, a company’s planned growth through technology integration and scaling of volumes makes the adoption of all such tools a must.CMAC delivers customised and optimised solutions which need to be ‘First Time Right’ given the last critical point of erection. The Anji Khad Railway Bridge (the highest on River Chenab) and The Missing Link Cable Stayed Bridge remain two of our most prestige projects where we deployed the best of technology tools.
Our new manufacturing plant at Chandanvelly village, Shahbad, Rangareddy in Telangana has started delivering state-of-the-art technology-led tower cranes. The plant will keep expanding the scope of offerings with the latest technology to cater to export markets in sync with our country’s Make in India mission.

All our construction-related products comply with IS 2062 standards. Plus, across our product line, we have integrated IoT-based monitoring and control systems. Even the self-loading mixers now come with GPS and a complete health-monitoring system.
On display at bauma CONEXPO INDIA will be our new BS-V self-loading variants and our split-type placing boom.
Our new BS-V self-loading machine is equipped with crab steering, and is designed for better stability, manoeuvrability, and performance across uneven terrain, ramps, narrow zones, and congested job sites. The upgraded self-loading machine features a three-way steering system and an easy-to-operate interface. For enhanced travel performance, it is fitted with a Rexroth Bosch hydraulic pump and a motor mounted on a two-speed gearbox. Its BS-V compliant Kirloskar/Mahindra CRDI engine comes with turbocharging, intercooling, SCR, and high-precision injection systems, and delivers the lowest emissions. We are scaling up production and strategizing to become a total concreting equipment manufacturer.

We have also introduced a concrete boom placer. It has fully hydraulic foldable arms and is ideally suited for concrete placement in both congested sites and large, spread-out areas.
We have broadened our business scope with our Self-Loading Concrete Mixers. Our concrete self-loading transit mixers with capacities of 2.6, 3.2, 4.5, and 4.8 cu.m/hr capacities are among our key offerings. They are also being supplied to rental companies to cater to the growing on-site concrete production demand.
We are also expanding our business in asphalt road-building with a range of asphalt drum mix plants of 120, 140, and 160 TPH, and bitumen pressure distributors of 4, 6, and 8 KL capacities.

Our new split-type concrete placing boom is small, compact, and easy to lift.
Most placing booms in the market weigh around six tons per segment, making them difficult to handle and requiring heavy tower cranes. Our placing boom has a 360-degree rotation, higher output, and comes with a wireless remote. This model is split-type, with each part weighing only about three tons, so even a smaller tower crane can lift it easily. We have 265 service engineers on our payroll across India.
Demand is currently being driven by real estate and infrastructure road projects. To support customers nationwide, we have built a robust after-sales network and we have 265 service engineers on our payroll across India. In fact, there is no location where our team cannot reach within 12 hours. Spare parts and service yards are also strategically placed across the country. The company recorded around ₹300 crore in revenue last FY and is aiming to reach ₹1,000 crore in the next 2–3 years.
Looking ahead, the company has set ambitious growth targets. It recorded around ₹300 crore in revenue last financial year and is aiming to reach ₹1,000 crore in the next 2–3 years, depending on government policies and upcoming projects.Multiple new models are under development, with four scheduled for launch this year, and the company also plans to introduce three truck-mounted boom pump variants during the same period.
Our export markets are also expanding rapidly. Africa is currently our fastest-growing market, and we are seeing good traction from the Maldives and Mauritius. Nepal has been a steady market for us, while Bangladesh has slowed down due to political conditions.
