How is your company advancing tyre technology in areas such as tread engineering, rubber compounding, carcass design, and heat management to extend tyre life and operational efficiency?
BKT has made significant strides in tyre technology to meet the evolving demands of construction, mining, and agricultural sectors. We have developed all steel radial tyres and rubber tracks which deliver superior traction and stability. The tyre’s deep L-5 tread and the cut-resistant compound provide an extended wear life in addition to excellent traction and stability. The tracks vibration-reducing design enhances operator comfort, while dual forged metal links and a four-stage bonding process prevents separation under heavy loads. It is a reliable, long-lasting solution for demanding construction and material-handling operations.Through continuous innovation in these areas, BKT aims to provide tyres that meet safety expectations of its customers in various off-highway applications.
What eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient processes, recycling, and retreading is the company doing to design and develop sustainable products?
At BKT, our product portfolio focuses on the creation of reliable tyres for every application, engineered with innovation and responsibility. We offer over 3,600 SKUs across cross-ply and radial constructions, covering agriculture, construction, industry, earthmoving, and ATVs.Our leadership in India is strengthened by vertical integration — in-house carbon black production, mold and drum manufacturing, and advanced R&D facilities. In FY 2024-25, 32% of renewable raw materials are being used in our products. Alongside material innovation, we’ve advanced energy and water efficiency at our plants, increasing renewable energy share, recycling more than 98.17% of process waste, and cutting non-renewable energy use year-on-year. This setup along with our sustainability strategy allows faster innovation cycles, consistent quality, and the development of performance-driven solutions while also supporting sustainability goals.

Advanced off-highway tyres are central to this growth as they directly improve safety, uptime and lifecycle economics, further reducing unplanned downtime, operational costs and improving productivity. BKT is committed to supporting this expansion with products that combine innovation and reliability.Customers investing in the tyres focus on the total cost of ownership. Tyre brands that offer strong materials, advanced design, and reliable support are thus seen as partners by OEMs and operators.
What new products or technologies will BKT highlight at EXCON 2025?
We will be showcasing advanced range of off-highway products at EXCON 2025, designed to meet the diverse needs of construction, mining, and material-handling operations. Our EARTHMAX and MULTIFORCE offerings reflect years of R&D, local expertise, and engineering excellence.The products from the EARTHMAX range include the BKT EARTHMAX SR53 L-5 and the BKT EARTHMAX SR 468 E-4, both engineered for load-bearing capability and safety in the most demanding environments. Additionally, the rubber track BKT MULTIFORCE BK T92 MC provides superior handling and traction on paved surfaces as well as smooth transitions between loose and hard terrains, resulting in peak efficiency even in challenging tasks.
