CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, North America’s largest construction trade show, brought the global construction industry together to conduct business and explore the technologies shaping future jobsites. Held during March 3–7 in Las Vegas, the exhibition attracted more than 140,000 construction professionals from 128 countries, who gathered to buy equipment, conduct business, and explore the latest innovations.

Spanning more than 3 million square feet, it featured over 2,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest equipment, technologies, and services across every major construction sector. From massive earthmoving machines and towering cranes to next-generation paving equipment, digital jobsite solutions, automation, sustainability initiatives, and advanced technologies, the show floor offered attendees the opportunity to see innovations up close, connect directly with manufacturers, and make informed purchase decisions.

From engaging discussions on the Ground Breakers Stage to meaningful connections through EmpowerHer, Small Business, and Shop Talks & Walks workshops, the event was marked by energy and forward-looking momentum.

The energy on the show floor translated into real business opportunities for show attendees who evaluated the new machines and connected with their manufacturers. For many, it was a rare opportunity to see equipment firsthand and compare features. “We’ve actually made deals here, met clients and connected with new partners,” said Ryan Ford of F&G Trucking Crane. “It’s one of the best places to bring the industry together and move business forward.”

Innovations That Will Define the Next Jobsite

Across the show floor, manufacturers unveiled technologies and equipment designed to define the next generation of construction jobsites. Komatsu highlighted advancements in intelligent machine control and automation, including its PC220LCi-12 intelligent excavator, which uses integrated sensors and 3D design data to help operators excavate to grade with greater precision and reduce rework. Komatsu also introduced the all-new HM460-6 46-ton articulated truck, the largest in its lineup. LiuGong showcased a range of advanced machines including the 870 HE Loader, 952F excavator and 924 FE Electric Excavator, underscoring the industry’s growing investment in electrification and lower-emissions equipment.

“We’ve seen a lot of equipment that we’re looking to purchase in the near future,” said Thomas Coyne of Donjon Marine. “Being able to put your hands on the machines and talk directly with manufacturers makes CONEXPO-CON/AGG a great show for companies like ours.”

Technology innovators across the show floor also demonstrated how digital solutions are transforming construction workflows. Topcon Positioning Systems 3D-MC Edge is a new feature within the 3D-MC environment engineered for enhanced accuracy and responsiveness. Samsara’s connected operations technology enables contractors to monitor equipment utilization, safety, and fleet performance across jobsites. Doka’s advanced formwork and digital job site solutions improve efficiency and safety on complex projects.

Bobcat’s advances in AI, electrification, autonomy and connectivity, including its Bobcat Jobsite Companion, an AI-enabled system, help operators work more efficiently with real-time machine insights and jobsite guidance.

Innovations across the industry was further recognized through the Next Level Awards, which honor breakthrough technologies transforming how construction projects are built and managed. The awards spotlight equipment and technology innovations that improve productivity, sustainability and jobsite safety, reinforcing CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s role as the global stage where the construction industry unveils ideas and machines shaping its future.

Winners of the Next Level Awards program were announced on the Ground Breakers Stage. Husco’s GenSteer™ was voted Contractors’ Choice for best equipment and Gravis Robotic’s Gravis Rack for best technology.

Ground Breakers Stage sessions are now available to stream on demand, where they have already generated thousands of online views, extending the conversation around the technologies and ideas transforming construction.

A Global Gathering Focused on Building the Future

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 reinforced construction’s role as a driver of economic development, supporting infrastructure modernization, energy expansion, manufacturing growth, and resilient communities.

The attendees participated in 150 comprehensive education sessions, live demonstrations, and peer-to-peer discussions designed to deliver actionable insights for businesses of every size.

Classroom education is a cornerstone of the CONEXPO-CON/AGG experience, delivering an all-encompassing lineup of panels, workshops, and keynote conversations designed to help attendees stay ahead of a rapidly evolving construction landscape. From hands-on equipment insights to forward-looking discussions on artificial intelligence, sustainability, and workforce innovation, CONEXPO-CON/AGG provided learning opportunities for every role and career stage.

The workshops brought together hundreds of women in construction, small business owners and maintenance professionals. The expanded lineup helps industry professionals connect with others who understand their daily challenges and opportunities. Shop Talks & Walks offered hands-on training focused on preventive maintenance, fleet efficiency, and real-world equipment solutions. EmpowerHER Workshop connected women industrywide for mentorship and inspiration. Small Business Workshop was dedicated to helping small business owners and family-run firms strengthen operations and build partnerships.

Supporting Mental Health in Construction

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 also highlighted the growing importance of mental health in the construction industry through its partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The initiative raised over $112,000 to support suicide prevention and awareness programs, while also creating dedicated spaces such as a Wellness Lounge and hosting educational sessions to promote well-being among industry professionals. This collaboration brought critical conversations on mental health to the forefront, reinforcing the industry’s commitment to supporting its workforce beyond physical safety.

Terex Materials Processing Showcases Scale and Market Commitment

Terex Materials Processing (MP) showcased the scale of its portfolio which featured 20 machines, including 12 new products. Spanning the Aggregates, Environmental, Concrete and Handling industries, the Terex MP 2026 exhibit brought together 14 brands including Powerscreen, Cedarapids, EvoQuip, Finlay, MAGNA, MDS, Terex Washing Systems, Marco Conveyors, ProStack, CBI, Advance, ProAll, Bid‑Well and Franna. Together, the lineup highlighted how Terex MP combines complementary technologies, applications and expertise, supported by product development, digital capability, and customer support.

Terex MP has continued to expand and strengthen its portfolio, welcoming three new brands that further enhance its capabilities and market reach. MAGNA brings large-scale crushing and screening solutions, supported by significant expansion of its U.S. distribution footprint. Marco conveyors add specialist expertise in durable tubular truss conveyor design, and a conveying manufacturing location in the United States, which strengthens Terex MP’s local presence and responsiveness to North American customers.

Franna has brought the success of Australia’s market-leading pick-and-carry crane concept to the North American market. With more than 50 percent share of the Australian mobile crane market, Franna’s reputation for reliability and productivity is being extended by Terex MP with products tailored specifically for North America requirements.

Digital innovation also took center stage with the launch of INNEX, Terex MP’s next-generation digital brand. Designed to deliver a best-in-class digital experience and tools for distributors and customers, INNEX consolidates and enhances existing tools such as Telematics, Ask Terex, Connected Dealer Inventory and eCommerce, while introducing new AI-driven innovations.

Also introduced was TRAC, a new intelligent monitoring solution that captures every aspect of a screen’s operation through fully synchronized machine monitoring. Developed by Terex screening engineers, TRAC provides insight into true performance, condition and lifespan, enabling customers to analyze, understand and optimize their screening operations.

Terex MP highlighted its strategic parts distribution operation in Louisville, created to help North American customers minimize downtime and keep equipment operating at peak performance. The 134,000-square-foot facility consolidates parts for Terex MP brands under one roof and is equipped with advanced technologies, extensive inventory, and rapid dispatch capabilities.


Manitou Group Highlights its LIFT 2030 Strategic Roadmap

Manitou Group unveiled a wide portfolio of new machines, electrified solutions, attachments, and digital technologies and highlighted its LIFT 2030 strategic roadmap, focused on innovation, electrification, and solutions designed to meet evolving customer requirements. Manitou emphasized three strategic priorities: the expansion of its “Made in USA” compact equipment range, acceleration of its energy transition strategy, and introduction of technological innovations to improve safety and operational efficiency on construction sites.

The company’s new lineup included three skid steer loaders and two track loaders with rated operating capacities ranging from 3,250 lbs to 3,600 lbs. The loaders deliver high performance with bucket breakout forces up to 47.3 lbf and a hinge pin height of up to 11 feet. Their vertical lift linkage system is optimized for truck loading and stable material handling operations. Hydraulic performance has been enhanced through load-sensing systems, which optimize power delivery and fuel efficiency. The redesigned chassis and structural configuration allow operators to lift, carry, and position heavy loads with confidence while maintaining efficient hydraulic performance.

The newly introduced compact loaders feature a more spacious cab, a 7-inch color display, and an exclusive backlit keypad for intuitive machine control. Several well-known Manitou technologies have been retained in the new models, including: IdealTrax™ automatic track tensioning system, IdealAccess™ fold-up door design and Hydraglide™ ride control system, now standard, improving operator comfort and material retention.

A redesigned lift arm structure improves visibility while protecting hydraulic hoses, and maintenance operations have been simplified through larger engine compartments and improved accessibility. Connectivity features are integrated through the myMANITOU and myGEHL mobile applications, enabling machine monitoring and fleet management.

In line with its electrification strategy, Manitou Group introduced the MTA 519e telehandler, a 100% electric machine for indoor work, urban construction environments, and sites requiring low noise or low emissions. Another major product launch was the Manitou MRT 4070 rotating telehandler, the flagship model of the VISION+ range. Powered by a 211 hp engine and equipped with a CVT, it provides smooth power delivery and high operational efficiency.

Manitou Group introduced three new attachments designed to expand the capabilities of compact loaders and telehandlers. These included a Two-Speed Brush Mulcher designed for intensive forestry and land-clearing operations; Jib Winch designed for installation of roof trusses and structural beams; and Grapple Pruning Saw for forestry applications

Manitou Group also showcased its Innovation Space, highlighting advanced digital and safety technologies. One of the key technologies presented was SafeAlert, an AI-based obstacle detection system combining HD cameras with intelligent algorithms capable of identifying pedestrians and obstacles even in complex environments. The company demonstrated a geolocation device designed for fleet management and attachment tracking.

Manitou Group highlighted its service ecosystem, which includes.extended warranty programs, 72-hour spare parts delivery, REMAN remanufactured parts program, and digital platforms myMANITOU and myGEHL.


Propel Industries Expands Global Presence

Propel Industries, India’s leader in crushing, screening, and washing equipment manufacturing, showcased its capabilities as a high-capacity, technology-driven solution provider for the aggregates, mining, and construction industries.

With over 3,100 installations across 50+ countries and a portfolio of 165+ equipment models ranging from 100 TPH to 1,000 TPH, Propel demonstrated its large-scale manufacturing strength and global readiness. Its vertically integrated operations enable consistent quality, reliability, and end-to-end solutions.

A key product highlight was the TMJ 811 jaw crusher. The machine features diesel-electric technology, which improves fuel efficiency and reduces operational costs. Its plug-in capability allows operation through mains power or an external generator, offering flexibility across diverse jobsites.

The TMJ 811 is built using globally recognized components, including engines from Caterpillar, motors from ABB, generators from Stamford alternators, and tracks from Strickland Tracks. This ensures easier serviceability and stronger customer confidence in international markets.

Visitors appreciated the machine’s robust structure, premium finish, and high build quality. North American customers particularly valued the heavier design, associating it with durability, stability, and long-term reliability in demanding conditions.

The Propel booth generated over 150+ business enquiries, especially from the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and also from South American markets driven by infrastructure and mining growth.

Propel is now focusing on building a localized dealer and aftersales support network before expanding further into end-user markets. Plans are underway to appoint stocking dealers to strengthen service capabilities in key regions. With strong product acceptance, growing international interest, and a structured market entry approach, the company is well positioned to scale its presence in the global crushing and screening industry.


CASE Showcases Game-Changing New Machines and Technology

CASE Construction Equipment displayed an impressive range of more than 40 machines across its 40,000 sqft booth, highlighting nearly 20 new or upgraded models. Highlights included new 3-ton mini excavators, a new midi excavator, and new models of full-sized excavators — showcasing versatile attachment capabilities and CASE’s latest advancements in controls, connectivity and precision technology.

Visitors witnessed the all-new electric mini track loader, with ultra-quiet, emissions-free operation; powerful new compact wheel loaders with operator-friendly cab improvements; large wheel loaders featuring operator-assist features like AutoDig and rear object detection; and new dozers with upgrades for performance management, visibility, and operator experience. They explored technologies that support the equipment and help operators work safely and efficiently, versatile attachments, and experience the latest digital solutions.

New introductions ranged from myCASEConstruction — an easy-to-use portal and app that centralizes real-time fleet data, service records, etc to new 2D and 3D machine control solutions, as well as safety intelligence and connectivity functions.

CASE’s new excavator lineup with new 3-ton models features a zero-tailswing design for easy work in tight spaces, intuitive controls, more hydraulic power for versatile attachment capabilities, and easy-to-access service points, while the largest model in the 3-ton class is designed for heavy-duty jobs but with the efficiency of a smaller machine. It also boasts a range of exclusive standard features like electronic throttle control with auto idle, auxiliary flow control, and industry-leading work lights.

The CX70E midi excavator features GNSS technology for improved digging, lifting and craning. Its electric-over-hydraulic controls allow full customization to support any operating style or application while enabling joystick steering for easy travel and more intuitive blade use. The new full-sized excavators CX145E SR and CX255E SR are short radius models, featuring the new CASE Assist and Payload controls, and dynamic stability assist, a new spacious cab and 10-inch display, and improved hydraulics with customizable flow.

CASE unveiled an all-new electric mini track loader, ideal for jobsites where low noise and zero emissions are critical. Compatible with 40+ attachments, this stand-on machine boasts three independent electric motors — two for the ground drive and one for the hydraulics. Visitors previewed CASE’s upcoming N Series Dozers that offer industry-leading productivity and serviceability and improvements to the operator cabin with a new operator station featuring a touchscreen display with encoder navigation, seat-mounted controls, and better forward and rear visibility.

On display were compact wheel loaders offering enhanced visibility and comfort; more load-carrying capability, and featuring a 1.3-yard bucket and a roading speed of 25 mph; upgraded large wheel loaders featuring advanced AutoDig, premium heated and ventilated seats, rear object detection, and an optional hydrostatic CVT; an extended reach wheel loader featuring increased attachment versatility with a dual-interchange coupler; a factory-standard four-corner strobe light system with customizable strobe patterns and colors for increased safety and visibility; skid steer and compact track loader with upgrades like a rear object detection system, and bi-directional self-leveling; while a large wheel loader with an American flag was on display to commemorate America250 semi-quincentennial celebration; attachments ranged from heavy-duty 4-in-1 buckets, breakers and plate compactors to specialized attachments like mulchers, brush mowers and the new CASE box scraper.

For Hailstone Innovations, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 marked another milestone in strengthening its global presence while demonstrating the engineering philosophy that drives its crushing and screening solutions. This year, Hailstone made a strategic shift by choosing an outdoor exhibition space spanning 2,400 sqft, allowing the company to present its technologies in a more immersive and engineering-focused format, highlighting the scale, design precision, and mechanical sophistication behind its equipment.

At the heart of Hailstone’s showcase was the Horizontal Shaft Impactor (HSI), a machine widely recognized for its ability to deliver high reduction ratios, consistent product shape, and reliable performance in demanding aggregate applications. Rather than presenting a conventional static display, the Hailstone team opted for a more engaging technical approach by exhibiting a miniature model of the HSI, allowing visitors to understand the machine’s internal design, rotor dynamics, and impact-based crushing principles.

The display attracted significant attention from contractors, quarry owners, and infrastructure developers who were keen to understand how impact crushing technology can be optimized for diverse material conditions. Hailstone engineers explained the critical design elements such as rotor configuration, wear-resistant components, and material flow paths that contribute to efficient crushing performance.

Complementing the HSI display were cross-sectional models of the Jaw Crusher and Cone Crusher, two cornerstone machines in the aggregates processing chain. These cross-section models offered visitors a rare opportunity to visualize the internal working mechanisms that typically remain hidden within heavy machinery. The jaw crusher cross-section illustrated the fundamental principles of compression-based crushing, highlighting the movement of the swing jaw, the crushing chamber geometry, and the importance of optimized feed distribution. Visitors were able to see how the mechanical interplay between fixed and moving jaw plates creates the primary size reduction required in most crushing circuits.

Similarly, the cone crusher cross-sectional display offered insights into advanced crushing chamber design, eccentric movement, and mantle-concave interaction that drive secondary and tertiary crushing efficiency. These models sparked numerous technical discussions with industry professionals interested in understanding how design refinements can improve throughput, product shape, and liner longevity.

Hailstone’s participation reflected a broader commitment to engineering transparency and knowledge sharing. By presenting internal structures rather than just finished equipment, the company provided visitors with a deeper understanding of the technology and design philosophy that underpin modern crushing solutions. Tadano has completed a bold transformation in the Americas, evolving from a crane-focused manufacturer to a provider of a broad range of lifting and access solutions supported by a strengthened service and support organization. Tadano has accelerated its growth through strategic acquisitions, including Nagano Industries, Manitex International, and IHI Transport Machinery’s transportation systems business, now operating as Tadano Infrastructure Solutions. Today, Tadano’s significantly expanded equipment and service portfolio supports a broad range of applications beyond its traditional crane equipment, including aerial work platforms (AWPs), boom trucks and truck-mounted lifting equipment, knuckle boom cranes, and pick & carry cranes.

Tadano’s global strength is being translated into solutions, support and capabilities designed specifically for customers in North America. As part of the OneTadano brand strategy, U.S.-produced Manitex products are now unified under the Tadano name, aligning with the company’s global brand harmonization approach.

Making its North American show debut was the 5-axle all terrain crane that boasts a road-legal axle load to meet the toughest standards and load limits.

As Tadano’s North American portfolio expands, OneTadano simplifies fleet ownership and strengthens brand recognition through a single, consistent global identity. Tadano is making parallel investments to ensure customers receive consistent, high-quality support across all product categories. Recent additions to the sales leadership teams for Manitex Inc and the AWP line are further integrating these businesses into the Tadano organization and strengthening support for customers across North America.

At the same time, Tadano has executed a comprehensive parts distribution strategy designed to support long-term growth. The company’s new centralized spare parts center in Europe further strengthens its international distribution network, enabling improved access to critical components and faster support in time-sensitive service situations. Initiatives highlighted at the show included a revamped Master Tech training program, featuring smaller class sizes and expanded hands-on training. An exhibit featuring heyTADANO, an AI-powered assistant, highlighted its 24/7 access to official Tadano knowledge, giving customers faster answers on site or in the office. Visitors also experienced a future crane concept developed by Tadano’s Advanced Technology Research Center, demonstrating how integrated safety systems and intelligent assistance technologies will shape the next generation of lifting equipment. This themed area highlighted digital tools and intelligent services that support planning, operation, monitoring, and fleet efficiency, as well as Tadano Green Solutions, showcasing technologies designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions while lowering operating costs.


Bull Machines Showcases Equipment for North American Market

Bull Machines showcased a range of equipment designed to address the productivity and versatility requirements of the North American market. The display included the HD100 Backhoe Loader, AV490 (49 HP) Skid Steer Loader, AV740 (74 HP) Skid Steer Loader, and the Smart Kid Skid Backhoe Loader – all of which reflected Bull’s focus on robust engineering and operator-focused machine design.

The HD100 Backhoe Loader drew strong interest from visitors due to features such as the single loader joystick control, its Return-to-Dig function, square-cut backhoe bucket for precise trenching, and smooth ride control, designed to enhance productivity, operator comfort, and jobsite efficiency.

The AV490 and AV740 skid steer loaders attracted attention for their compact design, versatility, and ability to support multiple attachments across applications such as construction, landscaping, agriculture, and rental operations.

The Smart Kid Skid Backhoe Loader also generated significant interest due to its compact size, versatility, and multifunctional capability. Its compatibility with multiple attachments makes it a practical solution for urban construction, utility work, and operations in confined jobsite environments.

The overall response from visitors, contractors, and equipment dealers was highly encouraging, with several discussions initiated around potential distribution opportunities. The exhibition provided Bull Machines with a strong platform to demonstrate the capabilities of Indian-engineered construction equipment and to explore opportunities for expanding its presence in the North American market.


Goldhofer Remains the First Choice for Heavy-Haul Solutions

Goldhofer’s PST/SL-E Split with Widening System, which debuted at bauma 2025, was presented for the first time in the Americas. Its variable vehicle width, high stability and ability to safely handle loads with a high center of gravity attracted strong interest. The new E PowerPack, delivering 250 kW, demonstrated what modern electric drive technology can achieve under demanding working conditions. The innovation represents a tangible improvement for complex industrial transport operations.

Another crowd favorite was once again the THP/DC, a well-established solution in the U.S. heavy haul market. Its quick width adjustment between 14 and 20 feet allows operators to react efficiently to varying state regulations.

Strong interest was also shown in the PST/ESE (315), which impressed with axle loads of up to 132,300 lbs on air-inflated tires without the need of a TPMS, demonstrating how extremely heavy loads can be moved efficiently with fewer axle lines. For companies operating internationally, the option to transport the module in flat racks proved highly relevant in practice.

CICEE 2027 Holds Promotion Event in Las Vegas

The Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition 2027 (CICEE 2027) held a promotional event in the United States for the Las Vegas construction equipment exhibition CONEXPO CON/AGG.

The event was attended by representatives from industry associations, leading construction equipment manufacturers, and media houses from over a dozen countries, including the United States, India, Chile, South Korea, Turkey, Austria, Spain, Indonesia, Germany, Italy, the UAE, and China.

This cross-border industry gathering delivered its vision and core value of CICEE 2027 to a global audience. The event also saw the launch of the International Construction and Equipment Information Technology Alliance, an initiative designed to strengthen global information sharing and collaboration across the construction equipment industry.

CICEE 2027 aims to expand a Global Platform for Construction Equipment. The CICEE Organizing Committee also unveiled an overview of CICEE 2027 which will be held during May 12–15, 2027, at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Changsha International Conference Center, with a total exhibition area expected to exceed 300,000 square meters.

Centered on the theme “High-End, Intelligent, and Green Development” the exhibition will cover the entire industrial chain —from infrastructure and emergency response to mining, agriculture, and logistics — creating a globally connected “mega-equipment” industrial ecosystem.

Five major exhibition sectors will work in synergy:

  • Agricultural Machinery
  • Transport Equipment
Together, they will form a premier platform for industry display, innovation exchange, and international cooperation.

Global Industry Leaders Highlight Smart Construction Trends

The promotion event was jointly hosted by Zhou Xianbiao, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Society, and Dr. George K. Zhang, President of the International Society for Intelligent Construction. Yuan Zhen, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association, presented an overview of Changsha’s construction machinery industry.

Representatives from leading construction machinery companies such as XCMG, SANY Group, Zoomlion and Sunward Intelligent, participated in the event, along with industry association leaders and corporate executives from India, Chile, Brazil, South Korea, and other countries.

Dr. Zhang shared his experience of attending multiple technical forums during CICEE 2025. He noted that the exhibition hosted a series of high-level seminars and technical exchanges, allowing experts to discuss the latest technology trends alongside cutting-edge equipment displays.

“The global construction machinery industry is rapidly transitioning toward intelligence and collaborative integration,” he said.
“The ‘Full-Chain Intelligent Connectivity’ concept proposed by CICEE 2027 aligns closely with international trends in intelligent construction.”

He added that cross-technology and cross-scenario integration is essential for industrial upgrading. The planned “Smart Jobsite 2027” immersive demonstration zone and a global innovation matchmaking platform for intelligent construction machinery will provide an ideal environment for technology exchange and real-world implementation.

Launch of International Construction Alliance Initiative

During the event, Shen Yonghan, Chairwoman of Chile Hongzhan Group and a representative of the Chilean construction industry association, jointly released the “Initiative for the Establishment of the International Construction Alliance” on behalf of participating organizations.

The initiative aims to create a global platform for technology exchange, industry information sharing, and international cooperation within the construction machinery sector.

The proposal noted that while global construction technology and equipment are advancing rapidly, cross-regional communication is still hindered by barriers such as time, language, and cost. Establishing a multinational alliance is seen as an effective solution to address these challenges. The initiative proposes five key measures to build a global information-sharing network:
  1. Organizing regular exchanges among alliance members during major international exhibitions.
  2. Creating a global public information platform showcasing member activities and industry updates.
  3. Establishing a “Global Industry News Pool” for sharing local industry news and resources.
  4. Supporting cross-border business agency services among members to expand media and commercial cooperation.
  5. Establishing a secretariat within the CICEE Organizing Committee, along with regional centers across major continents to ensure stable operations.
Zhou Xianbiao, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Society, explained: “The purpose of establishing this alliance is to promote cooperation, resource sharing, mutual empowerment, and coordinated development.” He added that the alliance will remove information bottlenecks across the global industry, enabling professionals to access cutting-edge technologies, market insights, and exhibition updates in a timely manner.

CICEE 2027 will serve as the core platform supporting the alliance, and global industry organizations and media are invited to join in building an open, efficient, and mutually beneficial global exchange platform for construction equipment technology and information.

New technologies took center stage at the Sinoboom booth, demonstrating the company’s continued focus on innovation to enhance operational efficiency and optimize ownership and operating costs. Making its global debut was Sinoboom Dual-ETM Smart Technology, designed to significantly improve energy efficiency and endurance, delivering up to 30% longer battery runtime, millisecond-level precise control, and ultimate safety and reliability. Displays included the Collision Avoidance Radar System (CARS) for boom lifts, and an updated 7” boom lift display screen which offers easy troubleshooting, comprehensive data on machine status, and enhanced security.

The wide range of new and upgraded access equipment included telescopic and articulating boom lifts, slab and RT scissor lifts, and vertical mast lifts. A total of 12 units on display represented solutions for diverse working scenarios. Key highlights included a narrow articulating boom optimized for rental deployment; a diesel-powered scissor lift which features a new engine; an all-electric scissor lift, which presents zero risk of hydraulic oil leakage and is therefore ideal for operations in strictly controlled environments; an electric telescopic boom lift, fitted with a high-end lithium battery that enables a long run-time on both outdoor and indoor projects; and versatile mast lifts which enable maximized efficiency in warehousing and logistics scenarios.

FPT’s off-road powertrain lineup spans engine displacements from 2.8 to 20 liters and delivers power outputs ranging from 50 to more than 900 hp, enabling equipment manufacturers to select optimal solutions for machines such as excavators, loaders, and other equipment. The company emphasized that its engines are designed to maximize productivity and uptime while complying with international and North American emission regulations. With best-in-class service intervals, the powertrains are engineered to reduce operating costs and improve the total cost of ownership for equipment manufacturers and end-users.

FPT offers multiple engine types with a wide range of displacement and power outputs, supported by numerous pre-validated options that simplify integration and reduce development time. Powertrains can also be customized on demand, enabling manufacturers to accelerate product development while reducing engineering costs. The company’s engineering flexibility ensures smooth engine integration, enabling OEMs to bring new machines to market faster. In addition, all Stage V FPT engines are fully compatible with HVO fuel, while the company also offers natural gas, hybrid, pure-electric, and hydrogen-powered solutions.

FPT powertrains are designed as multi-application platforms that can be used across several sectors including construction, infrastructure, agriculture, transportation, power generation, and marine applications. This platform-based approach allows innovations developed in one sector to be rapidly transferred to other industries. All Stage V engines integrate FPT’s patented HI-eSCR2 after-treatment technology, which provides a maintenance-free system for the entire life cycle of the engine. The technology performs passive regeneration without requiring machine downtime, improving productivity and reducing operational complexity. The compact after-treatment system module also enables flexible installation layouts for equipment manufacturers. Furthermore, FPT engines comply with both Tier 4 Final and Stage V emission standards, allowing manufacturers to serve multiple markets without redesigning the engine architecture.

A key highlight was the XCURSOR 13 engine, the industry’s first multi-fuel single-base engine platform. Originally developed for on-highway applications, the engine has been further adapted for off-road equipment and combines high productivity with proven durability. Designed as a plug-and-play solution, the engine can be integrated easily into different machine platforms and is capable of operating on biomethane and hydrogen, enabling net-zero emission operation. It features a displacement of 12.9 liters with an inline six-cylinder configuration; delivers a maximum power output of 500 kW (about 670 hp) at 1700 rpm, and a maximum torque of 2850 Nm at 1300 rpm, with service intervals extending up to 1,200 hours.

FPT also presented the CURSOR 16 SST engine, designed for applications requiring extremely high-power output. The engine delivers a strong power-to-weight ratio that ensures high performance while maintaining fuel efficiency and minimizing operating costs.

Another highlight was the NEF 67 plug-and-play power solution with integrated after-treatment components, where all major emission control elements are pre-assembled within a single compact module. This design eliminates the need for a dedicated exhaust system and simplifies installation for equipment manufacturers. It also offers pre-validated off-the-shelf options that allow equipment manufacturers to achieve flexible installation configurations across different machine platforms.
