Mitul Patel From Apollo Inffratech Group shares insights on Next-Gen, Sustainable & Competitive Construction Equipment
By consistently introducing cutting-edge products tailored to diverse regional needs, we have positioned the company as a trusted global leader in construction and infrastructure solutions.
Mitul Patel, Managing Director
What is your long-term outlook for India’s CE market and what growth opportunities do you envisage?
The current market environment remains subdued, largely due to government infrastructure funds being redirected to other priority areas. This shift has affected demand for retail construction equipment across the sector. However, the long-term outlook for the Indian market continues to be strongly bullish, supported by structural drivers such as urbanization, industrial expansion, and continued emphasis on connectivity.Despite the temporary slowdown, our group has recorded 25% year-on-year growth, demonstrating both the resilience of our portfolio and the strength of our customer relationships. Looking ahead, we expect the infrastructure sector to regain momentum over the next 4–5 years. Specifically, we project:
- 12–15% growth in retail-oriented products such as self-loading mixers and small concrete batching plants, driven by rural and semi-urban development, housing, and small contractors’ rising mechanization.
- 8–10% growth in equipment supporting precast manufacturing and larger-capacity batching plants, aligned with increasing adoption of precast technology and demand for high-efficiency project execution.
With India’s infra development expanding across roads, metro, railways, power projects, etc, how is Apollo Inffratech diversifying its product portfolio to address the varied requirements?

We have expanded our mortar mixing plant portfolio with multiple capacity options tailored to diverse project needs. Under our Apollo Zenith brand, we have begun manufacturing the ZN 900 fully automatic block and paver making machine with fully automatic system, further strengthening our presence in the building materials segment. And we have launched the next generation of our popular ZN 400 and ZN 600 models, offering enhanced performance and reliability for our customers.
Our strategic collaboration with Sommer, Germany, continues to empower housing developers with precast technologies. Apollo Carmix now offers five variants of the BS 5 series, including two front-end loading models, giving customers greater flexibility and productivity on site.
Our Apollo Afinitas product line remains one of the most versatile in the industry, enabling manufacturers to produce a wide range of concrete products simply by changing moulds. To further support operational efficiency, we are introducing a compact cage-welding machine and an innovative pipe unloader designed to simplify and speed up the unloading process from transport vehicles.
How is your company expanding its global footprint, strengthening exports, and integrating international technologies to stay competitive in India and abroad?
Apollo Inffratech Group continues to strengthen its global footprint through a strategic blend of innovation, partnerships, and customer-centric engineering. Leveraging our direct dealer network as well as joint-venture collaborations, we now export to international markets across South East Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America, and SAARC nations. Our expanding presence reflects the growing global confidence in Apollo’s world-class technologies—from advanced mortar mixing plants and next-generation block and paver solutions to versatile precast and concrete equipment. How is your organization promoting inclusivity, diversity, and skill development within the workforce?
We believe that progress is meaningful only when it uplifts everyone in our ecosystem: customers, employees, vendors, and dealers. To empower our people, we conduct training and development programs across all departments and we also offer comprehensive and competitive worker-compensation and welfare schemes to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of our employees.Operations like Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping form the backbone of our daily work environment, and our teams regularly undergo lean manufacturing and process-improvement training. This drives efficiency, builds adaptability, and enables us to deliver world-class solutions.

How is your company reinforcing trust and loyalty in its customers?
I really appreciate this question because it reflects the core of who we are. Our values—Reliability, People Orientation, and Innovation—guide every decision that we make. We remain committed to delivering cutting-edge, reliable, and customer-centric solutions ---the reason why our customers trust our innovations, engineering know-how, high quality products and solutions that improve their productivity and profitability onsite, and our dependable service support. We make it a point to understand our customers’ needs and innovate to meet them. One example is our Apollo Carmix FX series, where we introduced a ground-control system on the discharge side of the mixer. It eliminates the need for an additional helper, reduces time, minimizes material wastage, and gives operators better control over the pouring process.
What will the company showcase at EXCON 2025?
We will unveil the ZN 600 Super and the Fully Line 900 SV – our next-generation block and paver solutions engineered for superior performance. We will introduce a new pipe unloader machine under the Apollo Afinitas brand, designed to simplify and accelerate the pipe-handling process on site. Our R&D team has developed a new mixing shovel that delivers up to three times the lifespan of conventional shovel designs, offering customers exceptional durability and long-term value. These advancements reflect Apollo Inffratech Group’s goal to bring technologies and special features that help customers enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve energy efficiency.
