Mr. Hitesh Patel, Director, LAXMI En Fab.

How do you see the prospect of AAC block business in India?
The AAC block market is growing across the globe and in India too. In recent years, sustainable infrastructure development is the prime focus of the government, including mass housing projects such as “house for everyone by 2022”. This target calls for massive affordable and sustainable building solutions.
AAC being lightweight, is the cheapest option available for any multistoried building. It is regarded as an excellent building material due to its heat, fire, and sound resistance qualities. It not only saves the cost of blocks but also the cost of structure which ultimately reduces cost of the building drastically. With these benefits, AAC block is gaining popularity in India and we believe that it has a bright prospect ahead.
