Rehlko display KSD1403, KDI1903, KD15 441, KDW1004 and Gasoline Engines

Rehlko Energy India, earlier known as Kohler Engines, is well positioned to cater to the Indian off-highway construction equipment with its advanced engines, which include its KSD 1403 (25 hp), KDI1903 (55hp), KD 441, and gasoline engines. Rehlko engines, ranging between 7 hp to 140 hp, are being used in backhoe loaders, excavators, tractors, boom lifts, light towers, walk behind rollers, and mini compactors, among other equipment.

“Rehlko engines are designed to integrate easily with the base machines, and their compactness makes them easy to mount onto the chassis. Plus, their modular design enables quick accessibility for servicing," said Alok Kumar, Associate Director-Sales & Service.

He informed that Kohler, which earlier held a majority stake in its energy business since the 1920s, had sold the business to US-based Platinum Equity, which renamed it Rehlko.

Rehlko's indirect injection engines are designed for minimum vibration. The mounting pads, fitted with the base of the engines, arrests vibrations and noise, which Kumar claimed is less than the defined global engine standards.

Rehlko’s 5-25 hp engines are made at the company’s Aurangabad facility, while engines with higher ratings are imported from its Italian facility. “We work on the business-to-business model, under which we supply the engines directly to our customers, who also take care of their maintenance and servicing. The customers’ service personnel are trained by us for the maintenance of their engines,” informed Kumar.
