Schwing Stetter India Launches India’s First 56-Meter Boom Pump Along With 20 New Products

Schwing-Excon-2025
Schwing Stetter India highlighted India's first 56-meter boom pump (S56SXF), engineered and built in India for long-reach pours on infrastructure, alongside multiple “firsts”, including the country’s first full EV truck mixer, first CNG mixer variant, and first hybrid 36m boom pump (S36X) for electric operation; the compact 31m boom pump on 2-axle chassis for urban use; CNG/EV truck mixers for decarbonization; FBP 29 mixer pump; cold-start self-loading mixer for high-altitude areas; and containerized mobile batching plant with twin-shaft mixer.

The company also introduced precast technology for India in technical collaboration with MAXtruder GmbH, Germany, along with new range of concrete equipment, the latest crushing and screening solutions for aggregates, and C&D waste recycling.

Said V.G. Sakthikumar, Chairman & Managing Director, “We have been orienting our product and service lines to align with need- and application-based requirements, backed by our core engineering expertise. One of our major achievements in this direction has been the successful registration of 15 product patents in 2024 across multiple product verticals, all of which were introduced on this mega platform.

Through these launches, our aim is to address India’s demand for faster, greener, and taller infrastructure through advanced engineering, clean energy solutions, and circular materials. These new products are designed to bridge critical gaps in the construction industry, including project delays, material handling inefficiencies, and sustainability challenges. With rapid urbanisation driving vertical growth to accommodate a doubling population, our machinery enables the construction of taller structures through high-reach pumps, accelerates project execution with automated tools that reduce delays and costs, and promotes greener practices through decarbonised logistics, low-emission technologies, and resource recycling.”

A Future Power Zone showcased the S36X Hybrid Boom Pump with dual diesel/electric operation and the 100% Electric Transit Mixer concept for tunnels, airports, and dense city cores, and the Hands-On Command Center, with a virtual smart mixer simulator and futuristic touch-grid to guide a boom pump model. A SCHWING Innovation Booth functioned as a live technology lab where visitors interacted with the ideas and systems powering the machines.

India’s First Battery Electric Transit Concrete Mixer

Unveiled in collaboration with Qucev Technologies, Schwing Stetter India’s first Battery Electric Transit Concrete Mixer (eRMC) brings significant advancements in energy efficiency, operational savings, and lifecycle value. With its advanced electric powertrain, industry-leading safety standards, and superior performance engineering, the model delivers cost and environmental benefits for ready-mix concrete operations.

At the core of this 7m³ Electric Transit Mixer is the BYD-patented Super Safe LFP Blade Battery, known for its exceptional safety, thermal stability, and long service life. The mixer is equipped with a 192.5 kWh battery pack supporting 240 kW dual CCS2 DC fast charging, enabling the vehicle to achieve a full charge in just one hour — a breakthrough for high-utilization construction environments.

The eRMC comes equipped with a 20-kW max rated power drum motor and 130 Nm max rated torque, ensuring reliable, high efficiency mixing performance. The model also features a redesigned ultra-modern cabin, engineered to enhance operator comfort, visibility, and overall safety during long working hours.

V. G. Sakthi Kumar highlighted that the eRMC sets a new benchmark in sustainable concrete delivery, providing high-quality ready-mix concrete with reduced environmental impact and lower operating expenses. The model is expected to greatly improve operating economics, strengthening its value proposition for both contractors and fleet operators.

Said N.K. Rawal, MD & CEO, Qucev Technologies, “Our focus is on delivering the highest quality products through continuous innovation. The eRMC reflects our shared commitment with Schwing Stetter India to accelerate India’s transition towards sustainable and efficient construction mobility.”

Elaborating on operational efficiency, he added, “Powered by an LFP Blade battery, the electric transit mixer offers enhanced safety, thermal stability, and a longer service life, resulting in lower total cost of ownership. As transit mixers operate on demanding duty cycles, higher uptime is critical to performance. With a peak torque of 550 Nm and a peak speed of 2,500 rpm, the eRMC is designed to support faster duty cycles. Customer feedback will be actively incorporated to further tailor the product to specific applications, while ensuring higher uptime and reduced operating costs.”
