What does your portfolio of various tires for the construction equipment industry include?
We offer a comprehensive range of tires for the construction industry, catering to equipment such as tippers, graders, cranes, backhoe loaders, boom lifts, and more, with tire sizes ranging from 20” to 28”. The key advantages of choosing our construction and industrial tires are that they deliver exceptional productivity, long-lasting durability, superior traction, and enhanced stability. We will continue to make adjustments and improvements in certain tires models as part of our continuous enhancement process.
What are your demand projections of on and off highway tires used in the construction sector of India?
We are foreseeing high volumes in view of the many government-led infrastructure projects that are driving the demand. Projects related to ports, tunnels, airports, and roads, are the key demand catalysts. The Government of India’s collaboration with Japan for infrastructure development in the north-eastern states further adds to this demand. We also anticipate significant investments by private companies in construction and infrastructure projects to increase the need for tires for construction equipment in India.
How is the company meeting demand for tires that can withstand load and heat impact as per the given standards of the OEMs?
The demand for construction tires originates from two sectors: the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the replacement market. Production of several construction, mining, earthmoving, and agricultural machinery in the country is expected to boost the demand for OEM tires. We have built our tires to meet the desired results as per their requirement and are also closely working with OEMs globally (and in India) to develop new patterns and add more value to our products.
