How will your new production facility aid in production build up and produce newer concreting solutions?
Our aim is to drive our business more prominently and have, therefore, set up a new manufacturing facility at Motap, Mehsana in Gujarat. It is our the largest production facility, comprising of multiple pruducts for manufacturing concrete batching plants, concrete pumps, transit mixers, self-loading mixers, and road equipment’s along with accessories.
This unit has already begun production of mobile and stationary concrete batch mix plants of 15-160 cum/hr under the CCP series, Eco Series, and the VIST series, based on twin shaft, planetary & pan type mixing technology with variety of aggregate storage system i.e. Inline and compartment bins. Our own twin shaft & planetary mixers are with optimum design and as per international standards and quality. Customers can select the appropriate concrete batching plant models as per their projects and site application demands.
We will build up volumes and manufacture new products like transit mixers and concrete pumps at this factory, which will enable us to have an end-to-end presence in the ready-mix concrete market. We are following lean manufacturing practices here and are confident of adding more value engineering to our products to make them of superior quality, and meet the demand for concrete well on time.
We have also made certain improvisations in the design based on the changing application needs of the contractors. Our products reliability and strong credentials have secured good orders from major corporates & big infrastructure companies for their major infrastructure construction work.
What support will you get from the new facility in marketing the company’s for the self loading mixer & Transit Mixers industry?
Our new plant works on backward integration, undertaking 80% percent of the work, which includes design and fabrication of the different parts, components, drums, etc. of the self- loading mixers, and. There is a lot of focus on testing and quality control for the continuous product improvement.
This facility will be instrumental in supporting the company’s new business of marketing 2-5 cum drums for the Self Loading mixer industry.
Our drums come with a unique spiral design that not only provides the required level of agitation, but also provides complete concrete discharge, even for the low slump concrete.
The company will provide the Transit Mixers drums, ready for fitment on the chassis, with complete mounting support with integration of brackets and pumps. We will also market the drums to the existing transit mixer owners looking to replace their drums with new products.
What new products will be manufactured at the company’s Motap factory?
We will be expanding our product line in the concreting segment at the Motap factory. We will be manufacturing 7-8 cum/hr transit mixers based on our in-house design of the drums and chassis – with the option of slave and power take-off engines. We are considering increasing the production to 1000 units of self-loading transit mixers of 2 to 4.8 cubic meter capacities with multiple variants from 250 units at present.
We will also be plan for the manufacturing of other equipment like truck mounted boom pump, placing booms, for the commercial ready mix industry for high rise buildings and infrastructure projects. The products will be made as per the industry standards & design and will be competitively priced. We will also consider entering the asphalt batch mix plants business.
Venus has 200+ service engineers and 12 dealers. We will continue to build our network of dealers for the new products, and also develop export markets like the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
