Tell us about Radicon Power Build's product range and manufacturing background?

We offer various types of gearboxes and geared motors across four series, Series M, Series C, Series F, and Series K, which are widely used in the crushing, concrete, and construction industries. We have recently introduced our Q-Series soft-mounted gearboxes and a range of variable frequency drives.

Our gearboxes and geared motors are 100% manufactured in India as per DIN Class 6 standards. Their internal parts are case-carburized and hardened-ground, which reduces noise, and allows the gearboxes to absorb shock loads and perform reliably in rugged applications.

We have been in this field for over 50 years, manufacturing gearboxes and geared motors. Customers see us as a one-stop solution for any type of gearbox suited to their application. We also offer customized products as per their requirements.

What makes your products easy to use and maintain?

Our products are easy to maintain, and several of our ranges come as oil-filled units, so customers don't need to fill any oil themselves. The units are lubricated for up to 7,000 to 8,000 working hours, which means customers don't need to worry about maintenance for extended periods. All our products are built in-house in India, following stringent quality norms. We also supply our gear motors in IE3 and IE4 standards, which help customers reduce power consumption.

We have also introduced a condition monitoring system (available as an accessory). It can predict bearing life and internal condition after a certain period of operation. This helps customers plan preventive maintenance as needed.

How is your service and assembly network structured across India?

We are the only company with more than three assembly centers across India, in major cities including Pune, Chennai, and Delhi. Geared motors are assembled here, and customers can also pick up spare parts from these centers. Our main manufacturing unit at Vidyanagar operates 24/7, and since our products are standardized, all spares are available off the shelf.

How early does Radicon Power Build typically get involved with equipment manufacturers during the product development process?

It depends. Some of our OEM customers regularly purchase gear motors based on designs that were standardized 10 to 20 years ago, and they continue to buy those units. However, for new requirements and specifications, we generally get involved right from the customer's initial discussion stage, which helps both parties select the most optimized product.

How has Radicon Power Build performed in recent years and what are your growth plans going forward?

Radicon Power Build has been growing consistently over the last 7 to 8 years, and we are the only company in our segment to achieve this level of growth. Our CAGR is strong in this space, and our market share in the construction industry is also solid.

We are looking for continued growth in this segment and are therefore also investing in infrastructure that will support the company’s growth over the next 10 years. Our target is to reach Rs. 1,000 crore revenue in the next three to four years.
