What products does the company manufacture?
We are currently engaged in the manufacturing and supply of three types of products and are soon set to introduce a 5.5-meter sensor paver. Currently, we offer the Hydrostatic Sensor Paver Finisher Model UWP3A, the Hydrostatic Paver Finisher Model UWP03, and the Hydrostatic Self-Propelled Road Widener Model UWNR04. Our pavers, UWP3A and UWP03, can pave up to a width of 4.5 meters, making them ideal for PMGSY work as well as for paving bitumen, wet-mix, DLC, DBM, and GSB. The UWP3A model is especially suited for sensor work up to 4.5 meters, providing reliable surface finishing.
Both of our paver machines are hydrostatic, offering several advantages such as low maintenance, ease of operation, user-friendly controls, and on-time performance, making them reliable products in the market.
Can you elaborate on the features of Uniter pavers?
Our paver is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission and powered by a Kirloskar water-cooled engine delivering 74.5 HP. It boasts a laying capacity of 150 TPH and features a hydraulic screed extension ranging from 2.5 meters to 4.5 meters. Designed for operator convenience, the machine includes double-side operator seats, ensuring ease of use during paving operations. The paver comes with a 142-liter fuel tank and a 240-liter hydraulic tank, fitted with two front axle wheels measuring 550 mm in diameter and 300 mm in width, and two rear axle of size 12.00 x 20. Safety is our top priority, and we provide three types of braking systems: a service brake, a secondary hydraulic brake, and a parking brake. The paver is also equipped with an emergency stop button to ensure enhanced safety during operations. Our hydraulic system is one of the most reliable system composing of pumps, motors, valves, pipes, hoses, fittings and all hydraulic components from reputed and renowned manufacturers globally and assembled and tested by highly trained technicians. We also offer an individual conveyor operation feature from the screed panel for optimal material usage.
Please tell us about newly-manufactured Uniter’s Road Widener.
We are proud to announce that Uniter is the first and foremost in India to manufacture Hydrostatic Self-Propelled Road Widener. Our road wideners are currently operational in the Sangli-Satara region (southern Maharashtra)of Maharashtra, with several units having successfully completed over 500 working hours.
The widener is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission and powered by a Kirloskar engine producing 49.5 HP. It offers a laying capacity of up to 300 TPH and features a blade width adjustable from 0.7 meters to 2.0 meters. The machine includes a 3-speed conveyor adaptable to various applications and an operator seat on both sides for enhanced convenience.
It boasts a front-wheel drive system, along with two wheels on both the front and rear axles. The widener is capable of laying wet mix, GSB, murrum, and aggregates of various size. The blade provides vertical movement from 0.3 meters below ground level to 0.1 meters above ground level, allowing flexibility for diverse tasks. It is equipped with Sauer Danfoss or equivalent traction and conveyor pumps for reliable performance. The machine features a fuel tank capacity of 145 liters and a hydraulic oil tank capacity of 260 liters, ensuring extended operational efficiency.
Advantages of using a road widener machine over conventional way of working are as under.
- High production capacity. The machine can lay material at a rate of 300 tonnes per hour. We have successfully widened road for length up to 2 Km per day. The machine makes the widening process very easy and fast.
- High quality work. Since work is done by machine, once thickness and width is set properly, the machine can continuously do widening work at same width and level.
- Material saving. Since there is no need for storing the material at site and as it is directly laid at required level and width at the time of dumping, wastage of material is very less.
- Easy transportation. Machine is self propelled so very easy to transport.
- Low labour cost. Labour cost drastically reduced as most of the work is done by machine.
- No need for any other machine. No need for excavator or loader or backhoe loader as machine receives material in its hopper from dumper, dumps material on its side where widening is required and spreads and levels material. Dumping, spreading and leveling of material is done at the same time with this machine.
