TH COMPANY: Technology Provider for Industrial Mineral & Aggregates Processing
Two of our most efficient and highly popular products are fully automatic-Compact Washing Unit that can process 100 tonnes of sand and aggregates per hour, and our Thickener, a dewatering equipment that can reduce water consumption by recycling it during plant operations. With a combo of the two, we can reuse more than 90% water. These are on display at bauma India 2024.

What cutting-edge solutions does the company offer for construction of mega infrastructure projects?
TH COMPANY is a leading technology provider for processing of Industrial Mineral and Aggregates. We supply aggregate washing plants to infrastructure projects to enable companies produce right quality of coarse aggregate and sand with high productivity. For the aggregates market, we offer different types of solutions meeting customer requirement. Our offerings include the following models:
- WGH – Washing Group Heavy: In this, we offer a single and double product for capacity ranging up to 300 tph in single machine, which can take a feed size up to 6mm.
- WCG – Washing and Classification group: In this, we offer up to 4 products in a single unit and capacity up to 250-300 tph with feed size up to 40mm. For sand washing, the maximum capacity in a single unit can go up to 250 tph.
These solutions have been developed keeping in mind global standards and requirements of the Indian infrastructure industry. Demand for our Sand Washing Plants is growing and we are also creating online connectivity with all the plants in order to monitor their performance and give customers prompt service in case of any problem.

What are the cost-effective features of your Sand Washing Plants?
TH Sand Washing Plants offer the following features that make them highly cost-effective:
- Designed to run at rated capacity, offering lowest capex per ton of feed to plant (TH Washing plants are supplied with high accuracy Weigh Feeders for proper measurement of tonnage fed to the plant).
- Highly efficient in removing silt from feed sand and can wash sand having 18-20% silt in single stage.
- TH Sand Plants can recover sand up to 53 micron (can go up to 45 micron); more sand is produced at lower cost of production.
- TH Sand Washing Plant comes with Paste Thickener, enabling high water recovery and low chemical consumption.
- Robust plant design with a ceramic and rubber lining reduces wear and tear, and therefore OPEX is lower.

How is your company reducing its environmental footprint?
We try to attempt sustainability and reduce environmental footprint in two ways:
- While designing the plant for a customer /project, we ensure that it should deliver the desired performance while minimizing water, chemical, and power consumption, simultaneously enables high recovery of sand, which helps in the conservation of natural resource.
- Our service team continuously visits the project sites to monitor the health of our equipment and plants, and guide customers on their proper maintenance.
How is your company optimizing its manufacturing processes and addressing supply chain issues?
We have manufacturing units at various locations across the country. MoUs are signed with reputed manufacturers to maintain quality of our products. We ensure quality products through regular audit of the manufacturing process and of our warehousing.
Since logistics cost is an important part for every production house, we have set up a dedicated logistics team for reducing time. This team also coordinates with the freight forwarder for both imported and domestic items and regular audit of the logistics ensures smooth operations.
How does TH COMPANY support the MSME sector to ensure production of high-quality components?
The MSME sector has become a key driver of India’s economy, fostering entrepreneurship and creating significant employment opportunities with low cost capital investment. It employs approx. 11 crore people. We at TH COMPANY fully support our MSME sector and the government’s vision.
More than 50% of our order value goes to the MSME sector. Most of the bought-out items for our plants are procured from them. Regular online and offline interactions with the MSME manufacturers on our design and quality requirements help them upskill their manpower and manufacturing process. Visit by our team members to their workshops help them gain critical knowhow of good engineering and manufacturing practices.
What incentives or support mechanisms should be in place to attract multinational component manufacturers and their investment in high-quality component manufacturing?
In the FY24 Budget, the Finance Minister allocated around Rs 10 lakh crore for infrastructure capital expenditure - a 33% increase from the previous year. Government programmes such as the Bharatmala and GATI projects are a big boost for the infrastructure sector.
The government can help improve the overall ecosystem by reducing the import duty on critical components, promote skilling of labour through training, improve logistics management at ports, reduce downtime in clearance at ports, and improve standard manufacturing practices. Highlighting good engineering practices can improve quality consciousness among industry players. This can be done by the government and the industry through expos, seminars, and workshops. Improving communication between the government and industry players can lead to better outcomes.
Please suggest a major policy reform that could have a positive impact on the global competitiveness of India’s construction equipment industry.
We would like to suggest two major policy reforms that are most needed at present: Firstly, the government is the biggest spender on R&D in India (accounting for 0.7% of GERD); however, the Small and Medium scale manufacturers do not have the facility for innovation, hence, government should support buy providing key technology and hand hold the industry in R&D, in filing patents, improve industry IP regulations. Industry players should be given access to R&D facility at government R&D centers.
Secondly, more focus on skilling of labour and in digital infrastructure is the need of the hour. Academia and industry should collaborate so that our future workforce is capable of absorbing new developments in Industry 4.0. This will not only enhance our global competitiveness but also make India a manufacturing hub. Shift from the dominance of a few countries towards India has already begun and the government in coming policies can accelerate the growth.
