With projects becoming larger and more complex under stricter timelines, what are your plans for business and product expansion—both vertically and horizontally?

Our ultimate goal is to build a comprehensive formwork ecosystem that adapts to evolving industry needs—providing high-quality products that are accessible, adaptable, and efficient, even for the most demanding projects.

We are one of the few companies in the formwork industry with a product range that covers virtually every requirement. From conventional timber runners to high-end engineered wood H-beams, and from densified and calibrated plywood to premium birch plywood, our portfolio is designed to meet varied construction needs.

Our advanced formwork solutions include options such as robust modular formwork, aluminium monolithic formwork, cup lock scaffolding, high- end ring lock and edge frame solutions. For more complex projects, we offer climbing systems, from basic climbing brackets to crane-assisted climbing formwork and hydraulic protection screens. This diverse range enables us to support projects of all types, scales, and technical demands.

In a competitive market, what key USPs or parameters would you recommend buyers should evaluate when selecting products?

It is essential for buyers to assess the overall value of a formwork system, considering upfront costs, life cycle cost, and potential savings in labour and time. Also look for formwork solutions that reduce or eliminate the need for heavy lifting machinery, such as Hydra or tower cranes, and that can easily adapt to diverse project requirements, offering flexibility for different structures and designs. Reliable and responsive technical support from the formwork supplier is also crucial, as it can significantly enhance project efficiency and swiftly resolve any on-site challenges. Choosing a formwork brand that excels in these areas can greatly impact the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety of construction projects.

How do you view the role of digitalization and use of advanced technologies in enhancing your formwork and scaffolding solutions?

Incorporating digitalization across our operations enhances both the efficiency and adaptability of our formwork and scaffolding solutions, while also strengthening our entire supply chain. This enables us to respond more swiftly to project demands.

By leveraging advanced design software and technologies, we create precise formwork and scaffolding designs that integrate with complex project requirements. This approach reduces errors, optimizes material usage, and streamlines project timelines from planning through execution.

How are you expanding customer touchpoints, ensuring product and spare part availability, and enhancing services?

Timely response to our customers is a cornerstone of our success. We operate through various branch offices and ware- houses in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Delhi, Raipur, Surat, Ahmedabad, and the recent one in Jaipur. This extensive presence ensures that we are just a call away from supporting our customers in key locations nationwide. Every office is equipped with the essential components and staffed by qualified engineers to provide prompt and reliable service.

How do you plan to navigate challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities in infrastructure development?

As the Indian government continues to support infrastructure development through various initiatives, we see significant opportunities to navigate challenges and strengthen our presence in the formwork industry. We are expanding our reach into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, focusing on educating developers and contractors in these regions about the substantial advantages of using modular system formwork.

Our strategic products, such as the Aluminium Monolithic System, HANDI MI, HANDI SPEEDY, and HANDI ULTRA, have been well received and appreciated in these markets. We believe that by creating awareness and an understanding of our innovative solutions, we can drive their adoption and contribute to the growth of the construction industry in these areas.

What are the key highlights at your stall in bauma India 24?

Our participation at bauma India 2024 underscores our commitment to the theme of ‘Innovation for Nation Building.’ We recognize that the construction industry is essential for shaping a nation’s infrastructure and driving its growth and development.

At the last bauma, we launched our strategic product, HANDI SPEEDY, which received a significant welcome across various sites in India. This year, with sustainability at the forefront, we are excited to introduce our new product, HANDI ULTRA.

This innovative modular column formwork can adapt to various structural dimensions, and its design eliminates the need to drill into the plywood for tie rod connections, which are located outside the panels. This feature not only enhances the durability of the formwork for repeated use but also reduces plywood waste, ultimately benefiting our customers’ budgets and the environment.

We will also showcase our extensive range of plywood, H-beams, and solutions for columns, shear walls, and slabs. Our display will also feature our aluminium-based monolithic and column formwork systems.

bauma India exhibition offers a unique platform for collaboration. We look forward to engaging with industry leaders, developers, and contractors to explore potential partnerships that can drive innovation and progress in the construction sector. We invite everyone to visit our stall to explore these innovations that contribute to sustainable construction practices while reinforcing our dedication to building a stronger nation.
