Vipul Gupta - Director, VIPUL SAMEER AGENCIES
What innovative materials or technologies are you incorporating in the manufacturing of aggregates, spare parts, or components for construction and mining equipment to enhance durability and performance in challenging environments?
In our company, the endeavour has always been to provide products of the highest quality and efficiency. We have incorporated automation in various processes that are still traditionally done in the industry. Additionally, we have installed state-of-the-art equipment for various processes that were hitherto carried out manually or with minimal use of machinery.
What testing and certification processes do you have in place to ensure quality and reliability of your products?
We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and have a systematic process in place to ensure quality. The best way to produce high-quality products is by ensuring that the raw materials are of consistent quality and that processes are performing as expected. We use testing equipment and have set up SOPs in repetitive and standard product assembly lines to minimize variations.

With the increasing focus on sustainability, what steps are you taking to reduce the environmental impact of your manufacturing processes and materials?
We are environmentally conscious and deeply concerned about the planet that future generations will inherit. Optimizing production capacities and minimizing rejections is one way of avoiding unnecessary operations and reworking. Emissions in our processes are already very low, and we have deployed equipment that helps us reduce any harmful environmental impact.
How do you address the challenge of meeting the diverse needs of various construction equipment manufacturers while maintaining compatibility and performance?
Our experience shows that most construction equipment manufacturers have a common need for high-quality parts and prompt effective service. This common goal helps us standardize many of our processes and allows us to produce compatible parts.
What role do you see for advanced technologies, such as IoT and automation, in improving the efficiency of your manufacturing processes and supply chain management?
Advanced technologies help increase productivity and ensure consistency in quality. The use of AI and cloud-based systems has expanded the boundaries of physical workspaces and unlocked huge potential for multitasking and growth. Automating processes prone to human error and mistakes also helps produce standardized products.
How can partnerships between component manufacturers, equipment producers, and distributors enhance innovation and responsiveness in the construction sector? What specific collaborations have been beneficial for your company?
Currently, we do not work through a distributor model. However, partnerships with logistics partners and vendors have helped lower costs, minimize response times, and reduce inventory at all workstations. This has made us leaner and more competitive.
How is your company adapting to changing market demands, such as the increasing use of electric and hybrid construction equipment? What specific aggregates or components are you developing to support these trends?
We produce spare parts for these machines and do not foresee much change in the industry as far as our portfolio is concerned. However, we have recently entered the online B2B segment to help our customers find parts easily and to expand our reach.
What strategies do you have in place for managing supply chain challenges and ensuring the timely delivery of components to meet customer needs?
Supply chain management is one of the core areas where we have made major improvements in the past few years, especially after the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We have onboarded our vendors into our ERP system to provide them with real-time stock and supply positions. This has resulted in reduced inventory and minimized communication between the concerned teams.
How does your participation at bauma India 2024 reflect the theme of 'Innovation for Nation Building,' and what specific innovations are you showcasing that align with this theme?
Innovation is an ongoing process, which is why today is very different from the past. The same applies to the future, which will certainly be very different from today. Bauma provides us with a platform to demonstrate to our customers and industry colleagues that better products are possible, but they require acceptance and support from all stakeholders.
