What is the current stats of the bar bending and bar cutting industry?
The bar bending and bar cutting industry is highly competitive; the profit margins have been under severe pressure since the past two years, which has adversely impacted business. One of the reasons is the import of cheap Chinese products by traders and importers who are simply dumping the products in the Indian local market. The other reason is the assembling of components for manufacturing the products without proper assessment of the engineering requirements to cater optimally to the work application requirements. To counter this and to build up our business, we are strengthening our in-house manufacturing capabilities.

What are the current manufacturing capabilities of Avirat Industries?
Avirat started its business in 2021, making two models of bar bending machines: the lighter Ai 45 and the heavy-duty Ai 55. We have built up our manufacturing capability based on my 13 years of experience in this domain. Though the initial cost of our products became dearer, however, we are building trust amongst our clients by delivering reliable products on time, which make their machine breakdowns almost negligible.
Avirat industries is now further strengthening its manufacturing while retaining its high quality by undertaking in-house milling of the machine components parts. It also makes the panels of the products. It has tied up with local gearbox and 5 hp electrical motor manufacturers for assured supply of the critical components in accordance with the built-up and performance needs of the products.
We are working on decent margins through quality-controlled products and timely delivery to clients.
What are the services and support offered by the company to its clients?
We are working closely with traders and the local assembly product makers and providing dedicated services support for our own products. However, as part of our extended business, we are providing complete maintenance and overhaul support, backed with parts, for products of any make. This has been fairly encouraging for us as our services have contributed towards the creation of a fair brand recall of our products. For marketing, Avirat interacts with both existing and potential customers through its own channel partners.
