"Our localised HiLight V5+ will be on display at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018. Our LED light tower HiLight V5+ has been successfully introduced and accepted in the Indian market. In keeping with our endeavour to ensure an upgraded portfolio and technologically advanced equipment, Atlas Copco power equipment will continue to enhance its light tower offering. For example, the heavy-duty lights with IP 67 protection brings more credibility to the already CPCB II compliance for the entire light tower. Besides this, our range of pneumatic and hydraulic handheld tools, will enable visitors/customers to experience the full power of our handheld breakers. Equipped with the right ergonomics and inbuilt features to enhance performance, these handheld tools will demonstrate the advanced technology offerings from Atlas Copco."

Atlas Copco is a big investor in R&D in India, and as leaders in innovation, we focus on localization and developing new technology.

We cannot ignore that customers are also scaling up in terms of quality and service expectations, and we will continue to provide them with the time-tested Atlas Copco technology. In 2013, Atlas Copco invested in a greenfield state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune. This investment was with an eye to our future growth in the country. The plant is three times the size of our old facility at Dapodi, Pune, and therefore, will be quite sufficient to meet our immediate as well as future demands, both locally and for some overseas markets, and it will be utilized in the future for our indigenization projects for generators and pumps.

Digitalization is the new buzzword and we, at Atlas Copco, focus on bringing unmatched service with a strong digital footprint. We are complementing the traditional way of service engineers monitoring the health of the machine with advanced digital systems like Fleet Link, which is a connectivity (telematics) solution that represents all relevant operational and service information of connected machines on the website and dashboards. It offers remote insights in the vital stats of our customers’ portable air compressors on site. Further, our latest dealer management software ensures maximum equipment uptime.

We will continue to educate the market through timely and relevant demos where the customer experiences our solutions first hand.

We, at Atlas Copco, believe in continuous innovation while maintaining a keen interest in core competency building within our sales and service team. This enables us to continue to meet the market expectation of getting the right product information and service on time. Further, our strong network of over 50 dealers nationwide strengthens our market presence in India.

As we stand on the threshold of a new era, we will continue to educate the market through timely and relevant demos where the customer experiences our solutions first hand, rather than just our products, and, therefore, accepts technological advancements and embraces the paradigm shift in the true sense.

Our export markets such as Middle East, Africa and the Far East, have similar infrastructure projects which are driving growth in these markets. We expect a healthy growth trend in infrastructure sector that continue to boost demand from export markets.

We are moving from a manufacturing society to a service-based, information- centered society.

Our service quotient is highly trusted with preventive maintenance and onsite breakdown resolution, even in remote locations, and is an expectation which we fulfil anytime, everywhere.

We sense that we are moving from a manufacturing society to a service-based, information-centered society, and advancements in technology will continue to impact market trends. The service division is focused on digitalization to enable fleet tracking, monitoring on real time basis with precise monitoring and proactive maintenance, which will bring in major improvements in inventory management and performance tracking.

Atlas Copco’s core focus has been on superior product quality and providing world-class service to its customers to ensure the value addition which is necessary in the current competitive demand-supply scenario.

2018 continues to be a focus year for Atlas Copco to support the Make in India initiative.

This is how Atlas Copco makes it possible:
  • Products with the most advanced technology are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune

Atlas-Copco
2018 has shown a healthy growth and we expect the trend to continue in the next three years as well.

We constantly work towards innovation, which has helped the Atlas Copco brand to stay confident and competitive in the market. Looking into the requirements for infrastructure, most of the manufacturing units are either investing in expansion or companies (like Atlas Copco) are turning to more efficient methods of production, thereby, enabling increased manufacturing capacity within the existing resources. Our latest manufacturing technology is ensuring a higher manufacturing capacity, deploying the same resources. The main goal is that we should be able to serve the market demand and need for the latest innovations in technology and on-time deliveries on site.

Expectations from the Indian market will continue to focus on infrastructure projects by offering products which meet our customer’s needs and ensures them long-term benefits. India is a growing economy, and looking at the overall infrastructure requirements coming up, we expect this healthy trend to continue in the coming years as well.
