
Samoter, the three-yearly International Exhibition of Earthmoving, Site and Building Industry Machinery, patronized by the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE)–is today recognized as the international forum for the construction sector and its allied trades, reports Mariya Rasheeda.
The 27th edition of Samoter, to be held from 5 to 9 March 2008, covering an area of 350,000 m2, will promote numerous initiatives, meetings and comparisons between companies, trade associations and opinion leaders; thereby, confirming its role as a landmark for the development of the industrial international system.

Samoter 2008 boasts of an impressive convention program designed to provide a wide-ranging overview of the sector in its entirety; from presentations of the latest technologies to analysis of new and interesting topics. Today more than ever before the event is an ideal partner for companies and trade associations and a landmark for development in the international industrial system. A role that promotes, together with major partners, meetings and comparisons between the main players in the value chain.
Numerous innovative activities are scheduled for the 2008 edition of Samoter samoter specials, press days, seminars and round tables bringing markets and companies even closer together.

An impressive calendar of Seminars and Meetings will tackle topics of major current interest, such as discussions focusing on safety in building sites, tunnels, underground works and problems affecting the production systems in the concrete value chain. “Security in building sites” is also the main theme of every sector, a transversal subject for each of the Special Days.
The event will also highlight communication through the Press Days dedicated to Italian and international journalists invited to attend presentations of innovation on show at Samoter. The Exhibition Centre also offers visitors and journalists the chance to see vehicles and machinery in action in the specific demo area.
Samoter 2008 enjoys its strength through the patronage and support of CECE (European Committee of Site Machinery Manufacturers’ Associations), and also of ANCE, Atecap, Consiglio Nazionale dei Geologi, Sig, Siteb and trade associations such as Aisem, systems Anfia, Ascomac– Cantiermacchine, Comamoter and Ucomesa.
