The three-day event proved to be a lucrative deal for the visitors and exhibitors looking for business opportunities and industry innovations.
The 2nd edition of India’s premier exhibition on Construction and Infrastructure industry - WorldBuild India, held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, brought together government bodies, engineers, construction companies, developers, architects, designers, and some of the finest global brands, on one platform.
Spread across 3,000+ sq.mt, the expo showcased 1259+ products by 125 exhibitors. On display were Building Materials, new technologies, services and solutions in Construction and Engineering. Over 12,504 business visitors from the Building Material, Construction, Engineering, Architecture and Design fraternity attended the trade event.
A key highlight was the newly introduced networking platform ‘Bridge It’ that saw meetings between purchase managers/senior personnel of leading Construction and Infrastructure firms and the exhibitors. The meeting platform facilitated exchange of ideas and networking between service providers and end-users. The world's regional and global businesses came to obtain business intelligence and interact with corporate decision makers to source their requirements with immediate order placement and on the spot fund exchange. Over 120 purchase teams from the the Building & Construction Industry were invited to interact with exhibitors and to generate business enquiries. Participants included eminent builders like the Lodha Group, Rustomjee Group, TATA Housing and Development and many more.
Other highlights were a Builders Association of India (BAI) convene, and a Conference on Innovations in Structural Design and Construction curated by Dr. Deepali Hadkar, Director, Sterling Engineering and Consultants.
The 3rd edition of WorldBuild India is scheduled to be held from 25 to 27 April 2019.
