FFC Concrete Claw offers more productive operation with its lower profile and low mounting height that allows material transfer while utilizing boom/loader arm supports. Easily replaceable teeth with 1.5-inch-wide shanks decrease downtime. These replaceable teeth are securely fastened with rubberized flex pins and allow the operator to easily slide the claw under concrete slabs, lift and load them. Shanks and end plates made with high-strength T-1 steel and a 1-inch by 8-inch wear-resistant pacal steel tapered cutting edge enhance durability. The FFC Concrete Claw has a working width of 24 inches to provide easy transportation and disposal of heavy concrete slabs and weighs approximately 575 pounds. It has a rated capacity on machines that have an up to 32,000-pound operating weight and/or 10,000-pound lift capacity.
This non-destructive testing tool measures and analyzes the strength of concrete by the waveform of impact force at the point of hammer and concrete contact and calculates the deterioration and delamination condition. A built-in accelerometer measures blow force. The CTS-02v4 tests concrete areas by dividing testing blocks using the measuring plane concept. After each hit, the result is displayed in 0.5 seconds. Approximately 500,000 measurements with the waveform data can be stored internally.
Contrasted with a rebound hammer, the CTS-02v4 requires no polishing of the testing surface and causes no damage to the concrete surface. Moreover, it is equipped with USB connection to allow data to be directly exported and stored to a PC. A CSV file of the results can be exported, and further analysis using spreadsheet software is possible.
Used in the United States and throughout Asia, Nitto Construction's CTS-02 Series is accepted as a tool of choice in new construction site testing, existing construction site monitoring and quality assurance testing, defect inspection and other applications involving concrete structures. Now featuring high strength concrete testing capability, it is also ideal for use with bridges, weight bearing columns and tall buildings.
The portable CTS-02v4 requires only seconds of set-up time - virtually no calibration is needed; the user simply turns it on and hits. The CTS-02v4 body size is 108mm x 169mm x 42mm and total weight is 380g.

The secret to flat bucketing success is the semi-float position that the valves achieve by equaling the hydraulic pressure of the main booms on the top and bottom of the cylinders. By equaling out the pressure, a large measure of safety is achieved because the boom, while in a softened state, only drops slightly before the opposing pressures equalize. Consequently, this softening of the boom, gives the operator the feel of control and motion as usual all the while allowing the bucket to make corrections to maintain perfect grade without the full weight of the machine fighting against the trajectory of the bucket. The philosophy behind the valve is to lessen the human inputs and natural tendencies of the operator so the bucket can stay on the desired trajectory. The best example of this is a bow and arrow. Once the arrow has been aimed and released, the arrow if undisturbed will follow its intended trajectory.

Hengelhoef Concrete Joints
The Cosinus Slide® joint has combined the Sinus Slide® solution (continuous support for passing wheels which enables vibration–and shock free crossings) with a unique technology of load bearing capacity of the floor without any dowel system. The joint is characterized by a stable double 2x5 mm Sinus steel plate on top opposed by a double Sinus steel plate on bottom. Instead of traditional anchor studs the joint is fixed in the concrete by a special wreathed continuous rebar system over the total length of the joint and with connections top and bottom. A small steel plate in the middle prevents overflowing of the concrete. Due to the Sinus-Cosinus geometrical shaped form of the joint and the concrete, load transfer is not realized by the joint (with dowels) but by the floor itself. That's why HCJ says; the joint is the floor, the floor is the joint. Each sinus corrugation on top is opposed by a Cosinus corrugation underneath. These crossed sinuses corrugated steel plates shape small vertical steel concrete columns over each other. The load bearing of these columns defines the load bearing capacity of the complete floor.
The loads are transferred simultaneously and proportionally throughout and over the floor by those vertical Concrete Columns shaped and supported by the Sinus-Cosinus geometry. This unique load bearing capacity of the floor slab is calculated and proved for all kind of forklift traffic. Traditional joints still struggle with the striking impact of falling wheels into the opening gap. Even the strongest reinforced joints cannot resist this very uncomfortable and unsafe situation. This will result in damage very soon with the inevitable limited use, ongoing suitability and durability of your floor as result.
With the Cosinus Slide® joint, the wheels and loads are sliding smoothly and shock free from one floor slab to another without traditional dowel connection.
