IMME 2016: India's Premier Exhibition on the Mining sector
The 13th edition of International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME), India's Premier Exhibition on the Mining sector is set to take place from 16 to 19 November 2016 at Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata.
Since its inception in 1984, IMME has proven to be the largest Mining Exhibition ever in India. This year, the show is expected to witness over 400 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors over an exhibit area of 100,000 square meters. Moreover, the trade fair will also have country pavilions from Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Poland, Russia, UK.
Mr Chaudhary Birender Singh, Hon'ble Minister of Steel, Government of India, Mr Balvinder Kumar, Secretary Mines, Government of India, and Mr S Bhattacharya, Chairman, Coal India Limited, have in-principle confirmed their presence at the show. Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Steel, Ministry of Coal, Government of India, and Coal India Limited have extended their formal support to the event. Coal India is participating in the exhibition and is also likely to have a meeting of their subsidiaries' CEOs during the show.
