Mr. Stefan Fuchs
For Goldhofer, the heavy transport industry in India is an absolute growth market, even if the economic situation currently does not appear to be so bright. 'All the more so, we have developed the new modular THP/MI production series especially for this market. With this series, we want to offer logistics companies an especially flexible and profitable system for the transport of payloads of up to three hundred tonnes,' explains Mr. Fuchs.
Further he elaborated that with our innovation; transport companies can more easily comply with state regulations for heavy transports and thus receive their transport authorization without a great administrative cost. This reduces administrative expenditures and substantially lowers project costs. In addition to the THP/MI modules, the heavy module systems of the THP/SL series are in great demand on the market. This series has been expanded by the THP/SL L and THP/SL S models. And there is a big advantage in practice: all of the modules as well as the accessories are compatible with each other and thus the axle lines and transport combinations perfectly complement each other.
With the heavy-duty module systems of the THP class as well as the flatbed semitrailer which was specially designed for the transport of wind power installations, Goldhofer is offering transport equipment for the markets of the future. No matter whether it is heavy transformers, gas turbines, tower segments, or even oversized rotor blades, all of the components are delivered safely and efficiently to their destination with the help of Goldhofer innovative transport solutions.
Dwelling about the group's success he said that Goldhofer covers the most varied needs for nearly every transport assignment with its comprehensive, technologically mature product palette. On its factory premises of around 100,000 square meters (nearly 1.1 million square feet), more than 650 employees work on innovative transport solutions and manufacture top technical vehicles with a payload range from 25 to 10,000 tons for demanding customers around the globe. The history of the GoldhoferAktiengesellschaft dates back to 1705. In 2013, Goldhofer acquired SchopfMaschinenbau GmbH, thus expanding its range into the area of civil and military aviation as well as the mining industry.

Moreover, we would exhibit the cost effective solution for piling rigs and borewell rigs to achieve precision in drilling depth – MOBA Depth Indicator System MDM-100. Achieving precise depth is a critical factor as the drill rod penetrating the ground is not visible to the operator and so it becomes a challenge to achieve desired depth.
Apart from our leading technology for levelling on road construction we are extending technology in this segment by adding our newly launched GPS based MOBA Compaction Assistant System MCA-2000. With this new colour graphics robust touchscreen display, it would be easy for the operator to monitor the number of passes made on a given lane with its thermal profile, thanks to the infrared temperature sensors. Ability to monitor these parameters helps us make desired number of passes to avoid under/over compaction that also has direct relation with fuel consumption. Featured with the USB data logging and GPRS data telemetry, one can have real time access of the work being done at remote location from office.
Furthermore, our newly updated technology for excavators can now help us derive plane, slopes, canal profiles and vitally for blind excavation jobs. The Xsite LINK is a colour graphic touchscreen display that makes a comfortable interface for the operator to view the plane in colour and draw desired profiles on the display itself. These eliminate the need of staff who are meant for cross checking of the attained profile which ultimately improves excavation accuracy and productivity.
Having expertise in various mobile applications we are now able to derive a cost effective – pressure based on board weighing system – MOBA Overload Indicator MOI System for Tipper Trucks to prevent overloading of the tippers which ultimately helps preventing early wear of the vehicle and accidents due to overloading. Unnecessary to and fro trips to weighbridge can be avoided by right first time loading and hence saving fuel and time. With its simple architecture it's a quick install system and easy for service and maintenance. It is recommended to use such a safety system which can be a part of the safety norms in mines.
Being very optimistic for Excon they said that the show would be an excellent opportunity for MOBA to explore new business horizons and connect with the current and prospect customers and of course it's a huge exhibition to promote our product for brand promotion and marketing. As we are expecting more participants and visitors this year, we are quite optimistic regarding the dimensions it would add to our business.
Expressing positive concern on their company growth they stated, we firmly believe that we are on the right track and have been progressing on a consistent basis. We would always have our presence in the market with new products and technology to meet the challenges. We are anticipating that the growth potential is extremely encouraging. With the way India is evolving to meet the new challenges of the future, we, at MOBA, ensure the efficiency and safety aspect of the machines used in both construction and mining purpose.
