Doka's sister company Umdasch Group Ventures, which deals with future trends and new technologies in the construction field, will present three new solutions: Contour Crafting (3D printing in construction), Neulandt (mobile pre-casting plant primarily for affordable housing) and Contakt (jobsite digitisation). Form-on is a Doka subsidiary that supplies new and used formwork components, worldwide.
Live product demos will be among the special highlights this year, and the DokaXlight formwork system will be used in this year's performance. The two-level Engineering Tower of 16 m will showcase Doka's engineering competence. Visitors will be able to use Virtual Reality (VR) to experience presentations on high-rise, infrastructure and energy sectors of construction. In the high-rise construction sector, DokaXact will celebrate its world première. This sensor-based system enables speed and precision for surveyors and site crews setting up wall formworks of self-climbing systems.
