
The designated roads for redevelopment include the Sector 114 outer road, spanning 700 meters, estimated to cost Rs 10.66 crore. Another road between sectors 102 and 102A will require an investment of Rs 15.48 crore. The third road, connecting sectors 106 and 103 and crossing the expressway, will incur a cost of Rs 17.86 crore. A revamp between sectors 106 and 109, with an intersection linking Dwarka Expressway, will cost Rs 18.92 crore. Lastly, the road between sectors 102A and 103 will undergo reconstruction amounting to Rs 16.41 crore.
Chief Executive Officer of GMDA, PC Meena, stated that the master road between sectors 102 and 102A will facilitate connectivity from Hero Honda Chowk to AIIMS. Additionally, the GMDA has directed officials to incorporate flyovers and underpasses into the road infrastructure development.
The construction of roads in Zone 5 (99-105) is being prioritized due to the impending completion of the Dwarka Expressway by the end of this year.
