PM to Inaugurate Key Development Projects in Delhi

Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects in Delhi, including 1,675 newly constructed flats for JJ cluster dwellers at Swabhiman Apartments, Ashok Vihar. This marks the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) second successful In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project, aimed at providing better living conditions with essential amenities. Beneficiaries contribute just Rs 1.42 lakh towards the construction cost of each Rs 25 lakh flat, with an additional Rs 30,000 for five years of maintenance.
The PM will also inaugurate two urban redevelopment projects: the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar and GPRA Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar. The WTC replaces over 600 old quarters with advanced commercial towers offering 34 lakh sq. ft. of premium space, featuring green building practices like zero-discharge systems, solar energy, and rainwater harvesting. The GPRA project comprises 28 towers with 2,500 residential units, equipped with modern amenities and eco-friendly systems such as solar-powered waste compactors and water treatment plants.
The PM will unveil CBSE's Integrated Office Complex in Dwarka, built at Rs 300 crore, featuring offices, an auditorium, a data center, and eco-friendly infrastructure adhering to IGBC Platinum standards.
The PM will also lay the foundation stone for three Delhi University projects worth over Rs 600 crore, including academic blocks at Eastern Campus (Surajmal Vihar) and Western Campus (Dwarka), and Veer Savarkar College at Roshanpura, Najafgarh, with state-of-the-art educational facilities.
