RIICO to Invest Rs 1,200 Crore to Upgrade Infrastructure in 450 Industrial Areas in Rajasthan
The initiative will focus on improving key facilities such as water and power supply, road infrastructure, street lighting, drainage systems, public parking, fire stations and skill development centres. A work plan worth Rs 1,000 crore has already been finalised for implementation.
As part of the project, industrial areas will be classified into platinum, gold, silver and bronze categories based on infrastructure standards, with targeted upgrades planned to elevate each zone to a higher category.
The programme aims to strengthen the industrial ecosystem, address long-standing infrastructure gaps and improve ease of doing business in the state, thereby enhancing investor confidence and supporting industrial growth.
