Suretech Infrastructure: Excavator Mounted Vibro Hammers by Dr. Digger
The excavator-mounted Vibro Hammer by Dr. Digger, is robust and of sturdy construction. It is designed to be resilient under the tough Indian working conditions and in rough handling.

Informed Sunil Newatia, Chairman & Managing Director, “Our Dr.Digger hammers are ideal for sheet piling, driving poles and H beams. We have reinforced several of the vibratory hammer’s components to make it more robust. We can configure the EMV set, as per customer requirement, with a 360° rotator, excavator arm extension, goosenecks, straight booms, and boom brackets, along with quick coupling systems, transportation, and a stand for the machine.”
The higher eccentric moment of the hammers equips them with enough power to drive up to 16m of sheet piles without difficulty. The auto tilt feature enables them to lift the sheet piles without the need for a crane. The centrifugal force in the EMV is produced by eccentric block vibration. The eccentric blocks appear in pairs, in opposite rotation directions. The transverse centrifugal forces counteract each other, and the vertical centrifugal forces are superimposed. High-frequency vibration makes the soil liquefy instantly, following which, the pile can be inserted into the soil through hammer weight or excavator pressure.
Features of Dr. Digger excavator-mounted vibro hammers:
- 15% higher in efficiency compared to hammers in the same class
- Bigger and heavier eccentric weights make the hammer most powerful
- Unique design of centered eccentric weights allows greater durability of bearings
- High strength and powered clamps are designed to grab different sheet piles and H-Beam Piles with safety measures
- Reliable hydraulic motors deliver high vibrating power
- Fully hydraulic flexible control, simple operation, 360° rotation, 180° tilt, pick up sheet piles easily
- High quality and reliable life of elastomers to isolate vibration being transmitted to excavator
- Clamps capable of handling a wide range of piles including sheet piles, H-piles, tubular steel piles, timber piles etc.
- Lower maintenance compared to competition hammers.
“These hammers are a cost-effective solution for contractors engaged in sheet piling jobs,” informed Sunil Newatia. “The EMVs are faster to set up, cheaper to run, and they do the job more efficiently. We are educating customers and promoting our excavator-mounted Vibro Hammers, suitable for sheet piling. They can not only drive piles but also extract piles.”
Besides this, the brand’s hand held hydraulic tools for demolition, rock splitting, and metal shearing have also proved to be very effective in controlled demolition, considered a niche area.
“As distributors of equipment for controlled demolition, we supply the right tools and machines such as splitters and crushing tools for controlled demolition of concrete without water, noise, dust or vibration. Their modular design consists of a main body and a set of interchangeable blades, such that in a few steps they can be easily converted into 3 other tools: Concrete crusher, Steel shear, and Combi shear.
“Our extremely versatile and highly functional hammers and tools have become indispensable for demolitions inside inhabited buildings and in densely populated areas,” said Sunil Newatia.
