PMP India, a subsidiary of PMP Industries S.p.A. Italy, is offering Power Transmission drives for construction machinery like concrete mixers, excavators, soil compactors; drives for electric vehicles like forklifts, and Fluid Power/Hydraulic transmissions for pumps and motors of different sizes, specifically designed for heavy-duty, high-pressure applications.

PMP has a global presence with 7 production sites (Italy, Bosnia Herzegovina, Malaysia, India, China); and 2 subsidiaries (USA and Brazil). The company is gearing up to amplify its operations in Bosnia and India, double its team in Italy, in order to bolster its technical and production capabilities in these regions, streamline its supply chains, and strengthen market presence by delivering cutting-edge products based on intensive research and development to ensure superior quality and efficiency.

For PMP India, the company aims to further fortify the internal processes with state-of-the-art equipment and set up a new production facility within the next two years.

Outlook for the construction sector

The upcoming general elections in India in 2024 have positively influenced the current financial statement, marked by a strong emphasis on investments as Prime Minister Modi seeks a third term in office. However, it is anticipated that next year’s election will temporarily slow down growth and cause further disruptions in the early part of the year. Nevertheless, we expect to recover in the latter part of the year, with several projects slated for the coming year.

We are confident that the new European Stage V emission standards will help in reducing the impact of carbon emission - a change we had foreseen and consequently factored into our designs.
