The industry is back on track with a slew of new projects

The effects of demonetization, emission norms and GST did have a slowdown effect on the Construction Industry for a brief period, but the industry is back on track with a slew of new projects coming up all over India. The initiative of the government with the Sagarmala and Bharatmala projects, ensures sustained growth of the construction industry for the next couple of years. These projects will ensure growth of crushing & screening equipment. Mining is still going through a slowdown due to environmental issues and we don’t see growth in this segment in near term.

Thyssenkrupp has received a very positive response from the market in 2017

We were late entrants in the market but with a very dedicated team, robust equipment and brand image, we have made inroads into the crushing & screening market. We have recently introduced adjustable bushing with four eccentricities in cone crusher, which will enable the machine to change multiple strokes easily without much downtime, to suit their varied capacity requirements. We have also added automated lubrication system and a few other features that will improve the lifecycle of the machines and ensure ease of maintenance.

We intend to develop a simpler version of Kubriamatic in coming years

IoT/telematics is an area where we already have our highly sophisticated solution ‘Kubriamatic’ special for Mining Industries. We intend to develop a simple version of Kubriamatic in the coming years for construction industry.

The company invests a substantial amount of its turnover in R&D

There are few incremental changes being looked into in order to improve productivity and ease of maintenance.

After-sales service is the key to any successful business

We attach greater importance to after-sales service. Our on-time service and support to customers has helped us to get repeat orders for crushing plants. We provide service support and spares & wears management to customers on jobsite. We are establishing a strong dealer network across India, which will also help us with parts management to increase uptime for customers.

New at Excon 2017

Thyssenkrupp will be showcasing crushing equipment like the Jaw Crusher, Cone crusher and Vertical Shaft Impactor. No new products are intended to be showcased at this exhibition, however all these products are bringing in some additional features to the crushing market.
