Kamdhenu Paints has commenced indigenous manufacturing of wood coatings under its brand KAMOLAC, marking a strategic expansion of its product portfolio in the premium paints and coatings segment. The company has established a dedicated wood coatings production line at its manufacturing facility in RIICO Industrial Area, Chopanki (Bhiwadi), Rajasthan, with an investment of ₹20 crore.

The new facility is expected to enhance product availability, optimise costs, and improve service delivery for interior designers, architects, and furniture professionals, while contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth.

Kamdhenu's Wood Coating Division has introduced a range of products, including PU wood finishes, high-gloss coatings, and allied solutions designed to enhance the aesthetics, durability, and protection of wooden surfaces. The products have been developed to suit Indian application conditions while meeting global performance standards.

According to industry estimates, the Indian wood coatings market, valued at around ₹700 million in 2024, is projected to reach ₹1.29 billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of 10.7%, driven by rapid urbanisation and growing demand for premium furniture and interior solutions.

Commenting on the development, Saurabh Agarwal, Managing Director, Kamdhenu Colour & Coatings Ltd. (KCCL), said that the new production line is part of the company's strategy to offer advanced and premium finishes at affordable prices while addressing the growing demand from the interiors and furniture sector. He added that Kamdhenu Paints is targeting a topline of ₹100 crore by FY29 from wood coatings and other new product categories. The company reported revenues of ₹245 crore in FY26.

Kamdhenu Paints continues to strengthen its presence in high-value application segments through product diversification and regular engagement with architects, interior designers, and other industry stakeholders
