Today, Excon, India's largest construction equipment and machinery exhibition, is the conflux of many national and international companies. The 5-day international exhibition from 10-14 December 2019, will be spread across a display area of 3,00,000 sqm, and is set to attract over 1250 exhibitors including 350+ overseas companies from 25 countries, including China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, UK and USA among others, and over 70,000 business visitors from India and abroad. It is an ideal platform to connect all stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, and developers, with the exciting growth story of India's infra development.
With the theme, “Smart i-Tech – Next Gen India@75”, Excon 2019 will demonstrate the role of smart technologies and innovation in design in the manufacture of Next-Gen construction equipment and machinery to support the rapid pace of infrastructure development in the country. During the show, New India is set to see a significant amount of digital influx in the industry with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Telematics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data becoming integrated with products and services. Machines are becoming intelligent with the ability to communicate digitally, thereby increasing work efficiencies and productivity. Hence, the theme this year is based on I-Tech, where 'I' stands for Infrastructure, Internet, Intelligent, Interconnectivity and Innovation.
There will be exclusive pavilions for showcasing AI, IoT, Robotics, besides Start-ups, Components & Parts; Job Fairs, Contests for School Children, Tree Plantation Day, and Green Rating of CE Industry. Moreover, as part of the 10th edition celebration of EXCON, CII will organize special activities like celebrating Women in Infrastructure among others.
