REDECON 2016: Tall Structures-Evolution & Innovation…

ACCE(I) - Bangalore Centre, in its constant endeavour to serve the Civil Engineering Fraternity, is conducting National and International Seminars and Conferences on contemporary topics in Civil Engineering to showcase the latest developments in the fields. It has been organizing the REDECON (Recent Development in Design and Construction Technologies) Conference and Exhibition in Bangalore on a regular basis since 2005, which received overwhelming success and well attended by the civil engineering professional community in the country, so much so, it is eagerly looking forward to be an event by one and all.

REDECON 2016 is scheduled to take place from 9 – 12 November, 2016, at NIMHANS Convention Centre in Bengaluru. This year, the conference will deliberate on the evolution of tall structures, structural systems and the technological driving force behind their developments. The need to cope with increasing demand and emphasis on different design and execution aspects, will be discussed and showcased during the proceedings.

REDECON 2016 is intended to bring together Architects, Structural Engineers, PMC consultants, contractors, practicing engineers, scientists, specifiers, researchers, manufacturers, applicators and others, from across the country & abroad, to share their knowledge and experience on current developments in Tall Structures. The event has developed a tradition of combining research and development aspects with practical case studies, aimed at identifying and communicating both tomorrow's technology and today's construction solutions. The exchange of knowledge and expertise is expected to result in the development of improved design and implementation methodologies for tall structures.

A few selected papers of the conference after peer review and plagiarism-check, will be published online in the IJRET Journal [www.ijret.org].

Deliberations during the Conference will deal with, planning, design and construction of tall structures advances in material technology, new innovative material challenges in the constructions as per architectural designs and new structural systems. These will be dealt with inconformity with the needs of the industry to be on the right track, for efficient and cost-effective designs of tall structures. Cases studies, latest developments on strategies and materials, will also be presented.
