For Liebherr, gathering feedback from customers, machine operators and industry insiders is crucial to facing the future together. One of the key topics is digitisation, which is now impacting all product areas; in terms of assistance systems or service and training options, for example. Liebherr will debut a new EC-B series of Tower Cranes with fibre ropesl. This new, high-strength fibre rope is around one-fifth the weight of conventional steel rope, but has four times the lifespan and is much easier to use.

Liebherr will also unveil five new mobile cranes built on proven technologies to provide better performance, efficiency and flexibility. It will also present a new crawler crane with a load capacity of 300 tons and featuring an innovative assistance system that increases safety and makes it easier to handle.

The new EC-B series from Liebherr sets new standards in terms of performance and design. The first eight units of the new series already cover a wide range of services – from small city to large handling cranes. As a result, the maximum load capacities range from 6 to 16 tons and the maximum jib head load capacities range from 1.6 tons to 2.8 ton – working at a maximum radius. At full jib length, the units are among the largest in their class. The 125 EC-B 6 itself reaches a proud 58 metres. The two largest cranes in the series, the 340 EC-B 12 and the 370 EC-B 12 Fibre each have a reach of up to 78 metres. In addition, all cranes are optimised for assembly.

When developing the new series, the company also focused on the comfort of crane operators and safety at construction sites: The new LiCAB cabin is significantly larger and also has a greater field of vision. In addition, the new top-slewing cranes have a new, central control element: a multi-touch display, and a new design with integrated advertising panels guarantees an improved impact over distance.

Liebherr LTM1230

Liebherr will present a new fast-erecting crane - the 125 K. With a radius of 55 metres and a maximum hook height of 65.5 metres, it is currently the largest fast-erecting crane on the market. It has been specially developed for civil engineering requirements such as road traffic bridges and commercial as well as industrial building construction, where high load capacities and large radii are required, with limited lead times.

The 125 K has a considerable initial hook height of 29.5 metres as standard. Five tower sections can be additionally inserted to reach a total hook height of 41.5 metres. This means that even major construction projects can be mastered. If the hook height still isn't sufficient, the 30° luffed jib position enables an impressive 65.5 metre hook height. The Liebherr crane has an 8,000 kg maximum load capacity and with a 55-metre radius at the jib head, it is able to lift 1,300 kg due to its Load-Plus function. Its immense flexibility is also demonstrated by its five radius options, ranging from 35 to 55 metres.

Liebherr will unveil four new products from its Mobile Cranes Product Division. These new cranes feature high performance, economy and flexibility. The Mobile Cranes Division will unveil two brand new products – an 8-axle mobile crane designed for maximum performance and a 5-axle crane.
