India’s construction equipment market is soaring with rapid urbanization and investments in infrastructure projects by central and local governments across all the states, in spite of the global economic fluctuation and short-term downturn of the automotive sector. At the same time, the subsidies and low duties for imported OHVs, will enable India’s farm equipment market to also soar. However, the implications of emissions from OHVs on the air quality and environment cannot be underestimated. In fact, India is actively tapping into an environment management system for non-road moving source and has established primary-stage systems and standards such as TREM IV - V, which are a big challenge for the OEMs and engine manufacturers.
It is under such circumstances that the India Off-Highway Vehicle Summit 2019 is scheduled to be held from 27-28 Nov 19 in Pune. Organized by the FIVEO Group, the Summit will provide the right knowledge platform to government officials, executives and experts engaged in national and international projects as it will cover the latest policies and standards for fuel-saving and emission reduction, industrial transformation and upgrading, etc,. Talks and discussions will be held by The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Agriculture of India, Central Pollution Control Board MoEFCC of India, Indian Construction Equipment Manufactures’ Association, Indian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers’ Association, OEMs like JCB, Tata Hitachi, ACE, Mahindra Rise, TAFE, John Deere, Komatsu, Escorts, SANY, Caterpillar, Cummins, Bosch Rexroth AG, and many other industry players.
