There is a great deal of anticipation amongst exhibitors and visitors from across India and abroad for the upcoming Excon’23. The trade event, one of the largest in Asia in the infra construction equipment sector, has grown bigger and better over the years, becoming a must-attend event for all those associated with the Construction Industry. This year, its overarching theme, 'Building India's Tomorrow – Technology, Globalization, Sustainability, Inclusiveness' will highlight the innovations, technologies, value additions, strategies, and sustainability initiatives that OEMs are taking to enhance their brand value.
NBM&CW's interviews with around 100 company heads reveal that the construction equipment industry has shown consistent growth over the last few quarters. The outlook for the sector is also positive for 2024 despite the upcoming General elections and implementation of BS V emission norms. In light of the anticipated increase in demand for advanced equipment and machinery that optimize their utilization at construction sites, OEMs are enhancing productivity, efficiency, and sustainability of their equipment, and embracing connected and digital construction practices. Many are exploring and even adopting alternative fuels to reduce carbon emissions in their machines. All these advancements and more will be on display at Excon’23, showcasing India's engineering prowess and global competitiveness.
