Du Jiahao, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee director, announced the opening of CICEE 2019, which was held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 15 to 18. The theme this year, was Intelligent New Generation of Construction Machinery.
The total exhibit area of 213,000 m2 had 14 exhibition halls with 6000 international standard booths. The event saw 1150 exhibitors, of which, 22% were international; 27% from the Hunan Province; and 51% from other regions of China. The event attracted 24 of the top 50 international construction machinery manufacturers and 14 of the top 500 international spare parts companies. Over 10,000 products were exhibited; these included 300 large equipment such as the 800-ton Zoomlion ZCC9800W of 178 m height and exhibits of Caterpillar, Case, etc.
Over 180,000 visitors, including CEOs of prestigious enterprises, academicians and industrial experts visited the exhibition, which also saw 30 other programs such as the Global High-End Manufacturing Summit (GHMS), the Belt and Road Infrastructure and Construction Equipment Summit, Construction Machinery Industrial Chain Conference, etc This year, the order and purchasing amount exceeded 20 billion yuans.
