CICO VISCOPLAST is a new generation concrete rheology modifying agent based on proprietary compounds to control the viscosity of flowing concrete without settlement of aggregates and bleeding.

CICO VISCOPLAST is used in combination with CICO PLAST SUPER C-300 for producing extremely flowing concrete, pumped concrete, pre-stressed and denser concrete as well as in industrial / commercial flooring and floor toppings.

CICO VISCOPLAST can be used at locations with congested reinforcements, thin slender section or any other locations, where improved workability is required. Pump concreting as it improves the lubricating properties. Roof slabs for both residential as well as industrial building. Medium to low grade concrete to improve the cohesion. Water retaining structures. Concrete tunnel lining.

CICO VISCOPLAST has several advantages: Improves cohesiveness of the mix. Reduces concrete bleeding considerably. Improves stability of fresh concrete, Produces self-compacting concrete which can be poured around congested reinforcement and requires little or no vibration. Internal friction and thixotrophy of the mix is reduced to a minimum without the risk of segregation, thus making concrete pumpable without formation of nesting.

CICO VISCOPLAST is compatible with all types of Indian cement. But to get the maximum ultimate beneficial properties it is advisable to conduct trial mixes before use. CICO VISCOPLAST is also compatible with all CICO admixtures. But for better performance consult with CICO technical team.

The optimum dosage depends on type of mix, grade of concrete, cement content and the desired workability. It is advisable to conduct laboratory or site trials with particular mix to achieve the optimum economical dose. As a guide the dose may vary from 0.1% to 1% by wt. of cement depending on site requirements.

CICO VISCOPLAST is available in 20 Kg, 220 Kg barrel.
