MMRDA invites bid for Rs 279-cr roads in KDMC area of Thane

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has initiated the bidding process for multiple road projects in the Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) Area of Thane, with a total estimated cost of Rs 279 crore. These projects are divided into four packages, each focusing on different road segments.

Under Package-I, the widening and construction of Road No. 22 & 23 will be carried out at a cost of Rs 75.47 crore. Package-II involves the development of Road No. 20, 21, 16, 17, 18, 09, 27 & 11, with an investment of Rs 70.94 crore. The contract for Package-III, valued at Rs 59.56 crore, includes Road No. 7, 8, 10, 13, 15 & 19. Lastly, Package-IV encompasses Road No. 12, 25, 26, 24 & 14 in the KDMC area, with a project cost of Rs 73.21 crore.

Interested parties have until 18th July 2023 to submit their bids for all the contracts. The completion period for each package is set at 24 months, ensuring timely completion of the road construction projects.
