Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stones for 10 national highway (NH) projects in Uttar Pradesh in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The projects, worth Rs 8,415 crore, are expected to improve connectivity and boost economic activity in the state.

The projects include the widening of NH-330 from Pratapgarh to Sultanpur, the construction of a 14-km bypass in Pratapgarh, and the construction of a 22-km, 4-lane bypass in Deoria. The projects are also expected to create employment opportunities in the state.

Gadkari informed that the projects would transform the state's infrastructure and boost economic growth. The widening of NH-330 would reduce travel time between Prayagraj and Pratapgarh, while the construction of the bypass in Pratapgarh would ease traffic congestion in the city.

The construction of the 22-km, 4-lane bypass in Deoria would improve connectivity between Deoria and Gorakhpur, and would also boost economic activity in the region.
