70% of India-Myanmar-Thailand Highway project completed: Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed that 70% of the India-Myanmar-Thailand highway project has been completed, connecting the three countries and spanning approximately 1,400 km. The highway's completion will enhance trade, healthcare, education, and tourism in the Southeast Asian region. The project, linking Moreh in Manipur to Mae Sot in Thailand via Myanmar, has experienced delays, with the initial target of completion set for December 2019. The minister did not provide a new deadline for the highway's commissioning.
