The projects have an estimated cost of Rs 710.40 crore and will provide all-weather road connectivity to 48 habitations for the first time.

The new road links are expected to improve access to essential services, including schools, hospitals and rural markets, while supporting social and economic development in the connected areas.

In addition to the latest approvals, Mizoram has already received sanctions under PMGSY for 367 road works covering 4,935 km and seven bridges, with a total cost of Rs 3,412 crore.
