Lucknow IT City Project
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will invest Rs 100.7 crore in roads, sewerage, drinking water and drainage infrastructure in villages covered under its IT City project.

LDA Vice-Chairperson Prathamesh Kumar inspected the project on Tuesday and directed officials to expedite development work. He set a one-month deadline to improve progress and restore roads dug up for stormwater drainage works.

The project covers seven villages and 10 hamlets. Under the land-pooling policy, 1,465 farmers have so far been allotted 2,197 developed plots.

During the review, Kumar found that only three roads had reached the granular sub-base stage, despite 40 tenders being issued for work on 25 roads and development activities in two sectors.
