Delhi–Mumbai Expressway Tunnel in Mukundra Hills to Cut Travel Time to 10 Minutes

Umedpura–Nayagaon tunnel project
The Umedpura–Nayagaon tunnel project on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway is set to transform travel through the Mukundra Hills region in Rajasthan, significantly improving connectivity and safety.

The project features an 8.3 km twin-tube tunnel that will reduce travel time from nearly 50 minutes to just 5–10 minutes, ensuring faster and smoother journeys for commuters.

Built using advanced engineering techniques, the tunnel will help decongest NH-52 while enabling seamless movement along the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway corridor. The project is expected to enhance regional connectivity and boost economic activity across the region.
