Orbital Rail Corridor Project
The Haryana government has approved a revised cost estimate of Rs 11,709 crore for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor, aimed at strengthening rail connectivity and supporting industrial growth in the NCR region.

The project, implemented by Haryana Orbital Rail Corporation Limited under the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation, will provide direct rail connectivity to key industrial and logistics hubs such as Kharkhauda, Manesar and Sohna.

The revised project cost, up from the earlier estimate of Rs 5,618 crore, incorporates additional components and scope enhancements, including improvements in railway yard infrastructure and better connectivity with existing and upcoming freight corridors such as the Dedicated Freight Corridor.

The corridor is expected to facilitate efficient freight movement, reduce transit time, and support the development of new townships in the Haryana NCR region, while enhancing integration with key industrial zones.
