What would be the focus of your company's participation in the forthcoming bc India international trade fair to be held in Mumbai in February 2011?
bC India would provide us a platform to display Wirtgen Group's varied range of products. We have a 578 sqm, Outdoor Double storey pavillion, where we would display six–seven products including our NEW 311 Soil Compactor, manufactured at our New facility at Pune.
The business intention would be to showcase Wirtgen India as a Company which offers Customer complete solution for road building and road rehabilitation backed by a strong after sales and spares support.
The trade fair would also give us an opportunity to interact with customers person-to-person and also further understand the market requirements.
Is there any plan to launch any new product and service or to initiate new technical collaboration arrangement with global manufacturers and marketing players during the show?
At bC India, we would display the new 311 Soil Compactor which is manufactured in the Pune facility of Wirtgen India. The 311 single drum compactor is the first value engineered product which is jointly developed by Hamm Germany and the Design and Engineering team of Wirtgen India. This machine is designed to meet the requirement of the Indian market with all the key features of the Hamm Compactor.
How would your participation in the bc india pep up the promotion of your company's marketing objectives and give a new dimension to your companies business areas?
Wirtgen Group's products, spares and other information displayed at our Pavillion at bC India, would further emphasize our market position as leaders in road building & rehabilitation technology. Our new manufacturing facility at Pune, coupled with our existing productline would surely put us, in a league ahead.
As a group, this year the expected growth is around 32% and also we would achieve our target of 1.6 billion Euro revenues.
A word about your company and its significant business areas serving the construction industry.
Wirtgen not only offers machines for Road Construction but are also "Solution providers" for concrete pavements, providing direct after sales and spares support and have high expertise in concrete paving methodology with Inset and offset paving applications. Wirtgen expertise also extends to cold and hot recycling of roads which results in saving of bitumen and is a green technology.
