Mr. Vishal Surelia, MDOur new ASP-075 paves upto 7.5 meters
We have added a new paver finisher in our Sensor paver range, namely ASP-075, for paving upto 7.5 meters with temping and vibration. Demand for 7.5-meter paver is increasing fast and we have geared up to meet this demand with our ASP-075, which is equipped with 170 BHP Ashok Leyland engine and control panel from MOBA of Germany, to match international standards. It’s a truly colossal machine.
R&D is a very important part of any organization. At Unipave, we work continuously in this area using the latest software. Our aim is to design and build modern, cost-effective, and sustainable products. Our paver models ASP-075 and HAP-045 HD are the outcome of our extensive R&D of high-performing, quality machines that can efficiently meet the current market demand.
Our pavers undergo various upgradations
We believe in continuous updating of our machine as per the market demand. We have a wide range of pavers in mechanical segment with different upgradations. Our HAP-045 model has three variants: the first is with mechanical drive and mechanical conveyor, and is cheaper in our paver line with a capacity of 100 TPH. We upgraded it to the next variant HAP-045HC, which is equipped with a hydraulic drive for conveyor, and have replaced the mechanical conveyor to hydraulic, so now, its laying capacity has increased from 100 TPH to 150 TPH. However, all our mechanical pavers are two-seaters, which are available only in the Indian market.
We then upgraded the HAP-045HC to HAP-045HD, which is our latest innovation in the mechanical paver line. We have given it a hydraulic drive for traveling and hydraulic conveyor, so now the customer has to maintain only one gearbox, so there is less maintenance cost.
All our pavers are approved by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), which requires fulfilling its norms and specifications, such as using BS3 series engines, which are more environment-friendly and consume less fuel.
Innovative features in our products give us a competitive edge
In order to provide ease of operation, we are giving two seats for operators, which is very helpful while laying roads, as it provides them an option to operate the machine from left or right side, from where the reference line is most visible. Also, most of our paver finisher models are equipped with solenoid valves instead of spool valves, which gives ease of operation as it can be operated by switches provided in the control panel as well as from consoles fitted on the screed.
For ease of maintenance, we have provided shutters on both sides of the machines, and components like hydraulic filters and valves are fitted at easy to reach places.
Further, our paver machines are approved by ARAI, so we are following its guidelines for the necessary safety measures. In terms of reliability, we are using standard components in the machines, and providing great build quality to enable our paver finishers to provide better performance and high uptime.
2018 will also be a rocking year
2017 has been an absolutely roller coaster ride for us and the CE Industry at large. We can see the present and future growth potential as per the data (with respect to our government’s initiatives) announced in October 2017. Road projects worth Rs.6.92 trillion (US$ 107.64 billion) were approved for building a 83,677-km road network in the country.
As regards demonetization and GST, initially, GST was somewhat inflexible, but once it firms up, it will be a big relief for the industry. We believe in PM’s strategy to build and give India a better country. So, 2018 will also be a rocking year for us.
A good time for industry to grow fast
It’s a good time for the industry to grow fast as there are numerous opportunities available. But without quality products and repeat customers, you cannot grow fast, or go far. Our slogan is ‘Dedicated to quality and service’ as we believe in providing quality products and service to our customers, so that they can build better roads and faster too, because of which we are getting repeat orders. With this strategy in place, we are confident that we will reach our goal of manufacturing over 100 Paver machines in 2017.

For the strong position that my company hold today, I am thankful to my lord, my late grandfather Shri Hansrajbhai Surelia, and my father Shri Prafulbhai Surelia (DME), who have given me the opportunity and responsibility to give my best to Unipave. The company was started by my grandfather in 1973, and I am now the third generation to carry forward the business, which gives me immense pride.
New at Excon 2017
At our outdoor stall no.117, we are going to show our latest sensor paver model ESP-05 with BS-3 series engine. This is our most popular sensor paver with 65% share of our total production. Now, the ESP-05 is also laying bituminous material for 6.0 meters, an increase from the earlier 5.5 meters. Moreover, with ESP-05, one can lay DLC material, which is growing fast in the country. Our latest paver ASP-075 which is equipped with the latest technology from Germany and India, will also be presented there.
