Tell us about the USP of your offering in terms of economy in operation, life cycle, low consumption of spare parts etc.
In today's turbulent world, where change is indispensable, the preferences of the people keep on changing may be due to taste preferences, status symbol, purchasing power/money constraints etc. This leads the vehicles and equipment to age over time and change hands from the first to the second and the third owner and so forth. We contribute to the economy in operations by bridging the gap between the buyer and the seller. Our platforms serve as the viable podium to physically inspect wide variety of vehicles/equipment in good conditions and further to buy or dispose offs the asset in the utmost transparent manner.

However, a buyer purchasing an asset from SAMIL today by availing all our services is most likely be a seller tomorrow. He can come back to the same place to explore the most potential market for buyers who are eager to buy his asset and hence goes the vicious cycle.

We offer ISO certified refurbishment services for our customer's convenience. In a nutshell, low transaction cost, better price realization, commitment of services and expert handlings at the interests of the customers have been the USP of SAMIL, over the years.

About the company's after sales support services, operator training, after market, any other support or offering like buy back, AMC etc.
Keeping aside the augmented platforms, SAMIL provides after-sale support services to ensure transparent and efficient business transactions. The Newlook services aim at providing aids of refurbishment and repair that add value to your vehicle/ equipment and helps in getting better price realization. Services like Documentation, Parking, Valuation, Insurance and Easy Finance etc. all are facilitated through separate units.

SAMIL being stemmed out of the Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC), the latter provide various training workshops to drivers for enhancing the quality of services to offer our esteemed customers. Further, Education Scholarship Program has been lately initiated by the Company, to spread light of education to the ignorant children of the truck drivers, commercial vehicle owners and those who are below the privileged ranks. To strengthen the bond with our much-valued customers, it becomes an increasing responsibility to consider the betterment of their respective families as well.

Would you please throw some light on your recently announced tie up with State Bank of India?
Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) has recently entered into a PAN India tie up with State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest public sector bank, by signing another strategic agreement for Auto division. Under this agreement, SAMIL extends the Automall's beneficial services to SBI in terms of valuation, assistance in disposal of vehicles, refurbishment of vehicles etc. SBI would also avail the service provider's parking facility for auto segment, beyond just the tractor segment now. Thus, the association is likely to contribute a much flourished business prospect.

Early this year, SAMIL had entered into a PAN India tie-up with SBI for assisting in business transactions for tractors. With the recent move, the company hopes to take a step ahead to authenticate Auto business transactions as well.

SAMIL is hopeful about exploring fresh opportunities in the auto domain with a favorable impact on its business with this tie-up.

Shriram Automall
Shriram Automall offers common meeting platforms for potential buyers and sellers where the valuation of the vehicles is determined through a transparent process. The influential patronage of SBI would certainly aid into better price realization of pre-owned assets and thereby take the business prospect to the next level. This tie-up with SBI represents yet another feather in SAMIL's corporate tie-up cap and holds promising future for both the enterprises.

Please tell us about your participation at Excon 2013?
Being in Excon, I feel that it is a fantastic opportunity for Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) to showcase our products to the world internationally. Ideas regarding the impact of growing urbanization and planned investments which may help the construction industry to grow over the next few years were exchanged.

This show created good business opportunities for us and also explores alternative sources of finance for infrastructure projects. We look forward for being in closely held association with them.
