How is Sicoma India gearing up to meet the demand forecasted for FY 2023-24?
Given the Indian Government’s strong focus on infra development and upgradation of existing structures, we are very positive of the growth in the coming years. At the end of Q3 FY 22-23, the company’s growth met our expectations and we are well prepared to meet the forecasted higher demand in the next fiscal. There are many ongoing projects and many more are slated to come up soon, so we will be looking at opportunities to position our brand more strongly in order to compete in the Indian market.
What will the company display at the upcoming bauma Conexpo 2023?
bauma Conexpo India is a very important event for us as it helps us connect with our OEM customers and the end-users. At this year’s bauma, we will be showcasing our latest technology for remotely monitoring the performance parameters of our Concrete Mixers. The technology will be very useful in optimising the products’ performance as it will help in reducing maintenance and machine downtime through breakdown analysis for preventive maintenance.
As an ISO 14001-2015 EMS certified company, our aim is to minimize carbon emission; we will be installing a Rooftop Solar Energy Plant at our factory at Tumkur, Bengaluru in the next financial year.
How is Sicoma India’s export business growing?
Sicoma is globally the largest producer of Concrete Mixers. Through Sicoma India we are catering to the entire Indian sub-continent market and are looking at other markets in conjunction with our parent group Sicoma OMG.
Our Made in India mixers are of international quality and price competitive too. Though designed at our headquarters in Italy, they are developed as per Indian working conditions and engineered to give maximum productivity.
We believe that to cater to global markets, one needs to follow global quality standards in manufacturing and follow the requisite safety parameters. At the same time, the product needs to be affordable too. Government policies can help the CE Industry by creating a conducive ecosystem for OEMs to manufacture products of global standards.
What customer services and support does the company provide?
Every Mixer that we supply comes with a periodic maintenance schedule manual, which the end-users must follow strictly. Our smart well-defined parts supply program helps in maintaining stock inventory for timely supply of spare parts from our warehouses in Tumkur. We conduct regular training programs for our customers’ operators and technicians on maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting, at our factory in Bangalore.
