Everest Engineering has got yet another feather in its cap with the huge order of 40 units of tower cranes from contractor BG Shirke. Where will these cranes be applied?
Very big precast housing projects have started in Taloja in Maharashtra by CIDCO and in Delhi by Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The contractor of these mass housing projects M/s. BG Shirke of Pune will apply these cranes in these projects These tower cranes are of 16- and 12-ton category and of Chinese company TOPSKY. With this order, Everest Engineering retains its position as the largest tower crane supplier in India’s precast sector, with a population of 284 units of tower cranes.
This is the 8th repeat order from BG Shirke since 2013, which proves our capability to execute mass machinery orders on time, maintain high quality, performance and safety of our machines, and ensure smooth operations without any damages to the precast segments.
Everest maintains the highest safety in these tower cranes and provides an anti-collision system with zone protection with an in-built SLI (Safe load indicator with controller). A team of 35 trained engineers and technicians ensure proper and timely services under the warranty period or out of the warranty period.
These cranes are of flattop type with split type mast sections which reduces their transportation cost. They are designed to fulfil the precast requirements of easy and quick installation, dismantling and climbing system during shifting from one building to another and enable faster construction. The cranes are economically priced too. In fact, they can compete on all counts of performance, reliability and pricing during bidding by contractors.
How are Everest Engineering’s GJJ hoists and mast climbers performing?
Our sales of our superior quality passenger hoists and platforms from GJJ are still climbing. We have also sold many industrial hoists for use in cement and power plants. The GJJ hoists are now newly designed with a bi-directional busbar system, which eliminates the trailing power cables and trolley. The busbars have special rollers and heavy copper contacts in a water- and dust-proof enclosure, which ensures trouble-free running for long durations. GJJ is not charging any extra price for this new bi-directional busbar system.
A standard GJJ hoist is designed to go up to 550m of a building’s height with various speeds of 46, 63, 96 and 120 m/min. GJJ mast sections are the same for 1.2 ton and 2 ton and even for various speeds. All these factors give additional advantages to the customers. Each wall tie distances of 9-10.5 …… proves the strength and stability of the GJJ structure when compared with other brands.
