Poclain Hydraulics to Display Hydrostatic Transmissions at Excon

Poclain hydraulics, a renowned name in the world of hydrostatic transmissions is participating at Excon to showcase its range of products available both for off-road and on-road applications. The company manufactures hydraulic motors, pumps, valves and electronics for off-road machinery and has recently started offering solutions for on-road applications as well.

With headquarters in France and 10 factories worldwide, Poclain manufactures high torque low speed hydraulic motors from 172 cc/rev (18 KW) to 30000 cc/rev (500 KW). As informed by Mr. Rajkumar Rao, Regional Sales Manager, Poclain Hydraulics Pvt Ltd, “Our Pondicherry factory currently manufactures motors from 172 cc/rev to 820 cc/rev (29 KW) and it is gearing up further to manufacture motors from the current 70,000 units per year to 1,20,000 units by 2017. A new assembly line is being built now where we have planned to manufacture motors from MS02 frame size (172 cc/rev) to MS18 (2099 cc/rev, 70 KW). The motors are with options like male spline shaft, wheel flanged, pinion shafts etc. and can work at 450 bar pressure. They can have a 2 speed option too.”

At Excon 2015, Poclain will display the following hydraulic motor frame sizes in:

MS02 – 200 cc/rev with brake
ML06 – 630 cc/rev with integrated oil exchange
MG02 – with pivot for 90 deg steering angle
MK05 – 670 cc/rev, compact ultra slim motor
MZE02 – pinion shaft motor for slew drive with brake

The above motors are used in various applications that include Skid steers, Wheel loaders, Compactors, Agricultural machinery, Swing drive for small excavators, and other construction and Industrial applications like Shredders etc.

Apart from these, Poclain is also displaying a product for On-Road applications called CleanStart. The CleanStart system is a stop and start function which comprises a hydraulic motor, pump, valve, tank, and an accumulator. The CleanStart system gives a fuel savings of around 8 to 10% and reduces the emissions. The applications are for the buses and other construction equipment.

Last but not the least; Poclain will also presents its various hydraulic pumps, valves, and electronics products both for off-road and on-road applications.
